There is literally no trailer anymore without these kind of comment. Sorry its not againtst you personely but I had to put it out there.
This movie is just brilliant and amazing. Jesse Eisenberg does a really good job in this film. The plot is the best part of the movie. It's also somewhat funny and entertaining. I definitely recommend this movie to those who haven't seen it. 5 out of 5 stars
I can’t quite explain it, but it feels very similar to The Lobster. From the dark comedy, to the cinematography and where characters are placed in scenes. Looks like it’ll be a good watch, can’t wait.
It has the same kind of weird dark and dry humour with characters saying the most absurd things in the most serious tone like in Yorgos Lanthimos movies. Probably inspired from him. I loved it.

What if Zombieland's Columbus character facing the real life issues instead of running away from Zombies So, it's The Art of Self-defense Jesse Einsenberg reminds me of every average guy who has troubles in Life which is cool because it feels relatable & vulnerable...
His role as the villain from batman was quite intense. His role from Now you see me 1 and 2 was just awesome. I haven't seen this one yet though, but from what I've seen in the trailer his acting again is just brilliant. Still, not as good as in the other two movies he starred in. Maybe it's because of his face...to me that face just fits either very baddy villainous roles or comedic roles. And yes, his role in now you see me was a comedic role. I personally like his movie with the German title translated "30 minutes or less" in which he has to do a heist because of the bomb they put ob him..was weird, but nice as well. Again, a comedic role. American Ultra? Just so Eisenberg'ish^^ Great actor, I think we can agree on that🤔😀
Tone reminds me of Richard Ayoade's "The Double". Though maybe that's just cos Jesse Eisenberg is in it haha, but no one else get a similar feeling to The Double, except maybe less quirky?
This is coming out to be the Dark Comedy genre, movies of this genre are pretty difficult to make. It needs a very delicate and proportional ratio of comedy with darkness and equal proportion of secrecy to the storyline with unexpected scenes and plots. Only few (countable on fingers) number of films could pull it off spectacularly: Burn After Readings Death At a Funeral 2007 (not the stupid and unspectacular remakes) Being John Malkovichk Bad Santa The Big Lebowski Analyze This Analyze That

The tone of this trailer went from comedic to surprisingly dark/dramatic to comedic again quite abruptly. That's pretty rare.
