You’re bloooming Jed! This is what people want to see. The relatability of your life to your audience. Specially those people who are not in NY. I tell you people would be interested in your life cause most people aren’t there so they’d be curious. So just post what ever your normal is and people would watch. No need to force yourself on thinking what should i blog this week or any topics. Just record and let the recording flow naturally. Just keep it up Jed!
very cool that you were able to try out both corporate and self-employed/content lifestyles and figure out what worked best for you! excited to see more work vlogs!
"I love having work to do and im really happy when I'm busy" THIS! Going back to school also made me realize how much I really thrive when I'm on a routine.
As a full-time employee and a part-time youtuber, I'm glad to see you be able to balance the two! Thanks for the content, let me know if you are ever in Tokyo🇯🇵
working freelance is not fun anymore :( I tried to wrk for myself and it was great at first but now i feel i kinda need a solid routine, a regular and monthly paycheck so I can plan my finances (some months i get less money than others and seriously I can't make any plans) and i would also like to do the same thing everyday. I am starting to hate the fact that every day brings a different dynamic
I freelanced for 15 years, and it does take a certain kind of attitude. For me, complicated health issues made it necessary as every time I got ill I got fired (long story). For a long while working hybrid was best. Regular part time job plus my freelance work. Sometimes both would be busy, but, as a rule, it gave some stability and a huge amount of flexibility. Top Tip: make your part time job completely different to your freelance work.
Stay strong on the work-life division Jed! Once you get more onboarded on your projects and feel the temptation of chasing promo/bonus it’s easy to let the guilt creep back in
I’ve never seen you being happier than this for quite a while Jed! it’s good to see, thank you for your vids and hope you can stay productive both on your full time work and side hustle! cheers from Indonesia~
There's so much more joy and brightness in you with this new job. So funny that I'm the same; feeling much better when I'm busy with the right things. Looking forward to this new chapter's content. 👌👌
yes you look much happier and younger... haha... yes... nothing to have a structured job and feel part of a team. also feeling secure with health care, vacations and all the perks that make your life much easier and safe, and yes, hybrid work is the best, the best of both worlds,
So good to see you feeling better about your new life structure! I did freelance video/photo for 3 yrs before switching to a 9-5 video position at a media company and man my life is SO much more balanced. Even my friends noticed a difference when I made the switch. Def feel you on the not having to worry about pay and health insurance. My job also helped me pay for my first international trip ever and buy my first car this past yr. 9-5 may not be the most popular move at least in the creative space, but I'm enjoying it as much as you are!

did I miss something? Why is he returning to a job? Wasn't he successful with his own business and his social media brand?
Bruh he literally explained this in this video and all the others.

Great video, as always. However, why can’t you just state what company you work for? Does it have to be a secret?
TH-camrs are often paranoid about stalkers... Also, the company may not want their brand associated with his Vlogs...
@MrDominicBrant ^ exactly
can you tell me the name company where you work
Hey Jed, hope you're doing well man. Just a question, did you design the website for 'Rule of Thirds' yourself ?
Happy for you Jed! Where are you currently working? (Company)
