Super great tutorial. As a complete beginner who hasn’t watched any tutorials before, I found it really easy to follow along and it showed me some useful blender mechanics, keyboard shortcuts and ideas, I’ve been manually selecting every face along a long edge and feel really stupid that I didn’t think there would be a shortcut for it lmao I am Moving onto part 2 now
I have been into product animations and showreels too much these days I think that's why youtube recommended me this and I am glad it did... Great work... You should make a part 3 for animation too like we see in real advertisements that would be awesome...
Nvm, it kept selecting the entire cylinder. Don’t know the command to select just the face of the cylinder, but the end result kept the line symmetrical

Running into problems @ 1:16. Everytime I squish it down like that it makes the rest have spiral edges instead of straight lines like yours
Alternate method: try pressing g, then any of the axis twice, e.g. x and x again, this will move on the local axis, which is what we want.

in 10:20 what did u press to make it flat ?
I press press S -> Z -> 0
at 10.16 which option you get to flat ?
press S -> Z -> 0
