I use to buy steel insert/outserts on AliExpress, but they are not in the shop anymore. I know I can get it from Ethics Archery USA, but it´s complicated with Tax and VAT overhere. So I´m giving this method a shot. Hope it´s useful and maybe it can help other folks on this side of the pond.
I have some black eagle instinct which comes with a stainless steel outsert collar like the arrows your using I bought a 4mm carbon rod on eBay I epoxy them in the shaft a inch or two this was couple year's ago so can't remember exactly but it makes for a very very strong arrow
I do speargun fishing, you don't mind if i pop around to your house, do ya? LOL. Not got into archery yet, but when i watch your videos it's a reminder of a sport I think I'd enjoy. Thanks for sharing.

I just think that the VAP insert/outsert are fragile. The X-impact outsert actually covers almost an inch, and with the solid steel pin inside, its an tough arrow😃
Yes I have used the GT XT’s . Fine arrows. I just like the low gpi arrows, because its easy to get a higher FOC. These are Only 6,3 gpi and still a 400 spine

@@mrflytyerpinewood3708 Well I’m not counting some arrows more traditional than others, when we are in the carbon world. These are the X-Impact. I like those because af the Micro diameter, which benefits the penetration. I haven’t tried other Black Eagles so it wouldent be fair for me to reccomend any other than this one

Did you ever use the gold tip tradition xt Pete? They come with both insert & outsert & are a good straight arrow.

Yes but I’ve been using this method for a while now without problems. You should know what taxes they take when we buy stuff in USA🙄
