ik it’s over but i am bored, soooo yeah. Ima be doing the Chapter 1 Fathom, chapter 2 Clearsight, Chapter 3 Darkstalker thing lol. Chapter 1-*Moledavite* Moledavite roughly pushed through the crowd of gossiping cats at the gathering, only looking for one cat, her sister, Farfeather. She slitted her eyes looking all over, yet could not find her. She smashed her paw on the ground in frustration. “Hows it going in Cloudclan?” Moledavite whipped her head around at the friendly voice. “Farfeather!” Moledavite cried and barreled into her sister. “Hey!” Farfeather nudged her affectionately. “It’s been so long.” They both said to each other, frowning. “Well, anyways, in Cloudclan things are going well-“ Moledavite got interrupted by the clan leaders on the great stone. “Cats of all clans! The gathering has started. Please pay attention to the leaders as we share clan news.” Fallenstar, Moonclan’s leader announced. Moledavite felt her tail slowly lash in annoyance. “I, Fallenstar will go first.” He announced proudly. Moledavite snorted quietly. “Ahem. We have three new kittens. Smallkit, Swiftkit, and Hopkit. They are already turning into mighty fine warriors. We also-“ Cloudclan’s leader, Featherstar interrupted. “Let me guess, abundant prey? Yeah, i don’t really have time for that mousebrain.. I have real stuff to share.” She growled. Fallenstar scowled at her but let her speak. “My warrior’s and scouts have spotted Moonclan cats stealing our prey.” Featherstar snarled. Fallenstar opened his mouth to protest. but he got interrupted. “It keeps happening and I’m tired of it. I have decided… Cloudclan is at war with Moonclan!” Chapter 2-*Crest* Crest prowled up to the rabbit, getting ready to pounce. “What in the rune territories-“ The rabbit started to have foam overtake its mouth, and its eyes started to crack. Crest scrunched his nose up in disgust and leaped away, running and somehow, the rabbit chased him. Crest leaped up an old willow, keeping himself from getting bitten by the rabbit. “Get away beast!” He growled. “Having some trouble there?” A ginger tom swatted the sick stricken rabbit and sent it flying. “Oh hush Flame.” Crest rolled his eyes. “Prey is so scarce in our tiny amount of territory… our kits and elders need to be fed, but they are barely even average weight for their age. The clans are taking over, do you think we should um…. Join the clans?” Crest whispered. Flame stared at him with wide eyes, then burst into laughter bumping Crest with his shoulder. “Don’t be a harebrain! Why would you think that?” Crest smiled half-heartedly and scoffed. “Yeah. Yeah you’re right.” But Crest still worried about that the whole day. “Morning everyone! Come to the meadow for fighting practice! Gotta keep your skills sharp if we run into any clan cats.” That made Crest winch on the inside, but he did not let it show. The morning sun had not came today, instead it was rainy and foggy. His pelt was soaked and heavy. “Crest with Flame, Ivy and Nettle, Snow and Slate, Burr and Blurry. And of course, me and branch.
Omg this sounds so fun! I’ve never done a writing contest before but I’m really excited I know I’m probably not going to win though. Anyways some questions: 1. What is the gender of crest? I can tell ( i think ) that far feather and Moldaviate are girls but is crest? 2. How long should it be? I can make a whole book in one sitting I wanted to but it seems like so many people are joining so idk how long it should be. That’s it! Bye

I’m sad to say that I don’t think I can participate after all. Recently I’ve been getting a lot of homework and I’m part of my school’s drama club that’s doing a production next week so I have very little free time at all and even less to spend writing my story for the competition

1) Yes, you can include your own OCs - they can even play a big role in the story, just make sure to include mine as well 2) There will be an announcement video released after the finishing date (Dec. 20th) so It'll probably released on December 24th or around that time I look forward to hopefully seeing your entry

Sure, no problem. The gender of the characters is up to you. And my OCs are from the Rune Territory, so many people have chosen to make them from a fan-made clan: RuneClan. But whether they are in a clan or not - or what clan they're in - is completely up to you! It's part of the creative liberty in this challenge.

You can write as much as you feel like writing. Since you asked, though, I think it should be at least 500 words, but there isn't really a word limit (though generally I think the maximum should be around 10,000 words for efficiency and uploading reasons).
I plan on making it so that the pov rotates between the three of them, with each showing different parts of clan life with each having a different role in the clan (and one of them having a role I created for the clan they’re in!) to help you learn more about how the clan functions and what each position does to help the clan!

Quick question. For Moldavite, is the word separation Mold avite or Mol Davite?

How long should the story be about in words?
You can write as much as you feel like writing. Since you asked, though, I think it should be at least 500 words, but there isn't really a word limit (though generally I think the maximum should be around 10,000 words for efficiency and uploading reasons).

Does the story need to have all three OC’s or can it have just one or two?
Preferably, but if you need, then you can include just two of them.
@@canvas4708 thank you, sorry that I’m commenting so much but so you know the more I comment and get involved the more I love the idea!
I plan on making it so that the pov rotates between the three of them, with each showing different parts of clan life with each having a different role in the clan (and one of them having a role I created for the clan they’re in!) to help you learn more about how the clan functions and what each position does to help the clan!
