The whole point of ordering ahead is to get there and pick up the order, not get there, confirm what spot you parked in then they start prepping your meal. The moment you place the order they should start prepping the meal like ANY other pre order app for a restaurant. Mcd's has this all wrong and it's annoying. I might as well just go through the drive thru and order, it's essentially the same speed and ordering system.
I agree. And I don't have a smartaphone or whatever those things are. With 5 guys I can place an order on my computer TODAY, for 7 PM on Fri., & it will be ready then. MCD needs future ordering that can be done without apps.

This would be great for me, im 19 and just got my license, and small drivethrus with high curbs scare me a bit, so this would be easier. and im too lazy to get out of my car lol
For the ones in remote areas, like me, you'll need to select your location first before you are able to order. Next to Select Location, you'll find the Search (magnifying glass), and click there; then, Add either your state, city or zip code. I live at 40 minutes from the small city, so I had to do it this way and make sure you add it as your favorite so you do not have to go through all these steps again.

Personally, I love their breakfast the most. Sausage egg and cheese McMuffin! From the lunch or dinner menu, definitely french fries, chicken nuggets, deluxe chicken sandwich, McDouble and Big Mac.

It's annoying. At places like 5 guys and BK, I can place an order on my computer and set a future Time to go pick it up later. I don't have any phone with internet or anything like that so I can't place any online orders at this place.

I'm a introvert on steroids and I felt stupid when I used self service, my receipt didn't came out or nothing.
Skipped the part where when you click curbside, it adds a few dollars fee and then charges your card.
Anything you get delivered has an up charge I've seen.
