The only difference is mans diet has changed drastically and so the chemical makeup of urine has changed along with it. In this video we will go thru the best practices if you decide to use urine on your vegetables and mistakes to avoid along the way. Some of them can lead to a higher level of toxicity in your harvest.

Here in Australia, it's a tradition for guys to pee on their lemon tree to feed it. 😁
I actually only use it in compost, and then the finished compost fertilizes the garden.

Lots of really great information ! I have been saving and using my urine for years . I feel bad if I have to flush it now lol . I did a lot of experiments with using urine . I grew a nice patch of corn just using urine a few years back . This year I gave one corn plant all my urine without adding any water I couldn't burn it . I did get a couple of massive ears lol . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !

Did you ferment it or use it right away?

@@Katgirl2024 you can use it right away just dilute it down with water 10 to 1. I can use it without dilution on corn in tassel .

I age urine for 2 years, then used at a dilution rate of 1:5 for vegetable plants and 1:10 for potted full-size fruit trees.

A very concentrated liquid fertilizer. All of the aldehydes are broken down and equalibrated to a non odiferous liquid. But I add limestone and potash to it also. Without the lime and potash the liquid is not overly odiferous. As far as a fertilizer far superior to commercial fertilizers.

At about 20:14, you mentioned “removing phosphorus into the liquid.”
Did you mean “calcium”? Or is this extracting both?

Interesting, yes I assumed it would work poorly on coco, as it’s organic. I use it as a supplement at about 10-1 water-urine with 1/4 strength commercial chemical fertilizer and seaweed, and believe it or not top water the whole plant and eat them. Nothing but flush green at that low dose, and of course it rains too cleaning the leaves, cheers.
Edit: and I use fresh, a week old max.
