A four-fish species Alberta river packrafting trip

A video of a cool and fun fly fishing and packrafting trip down a river in western Alberta. This river has bull trout, rainbow trout, grayling, and whitefish, and good representations of each species were caught (and released) on this trip. I had my best four species day ever.

Great video! I love watching these! I would have loved to see some of my absolute favorite spots fished along this river. It’s interesting to see that some of the spots you fish do way better in the later season than when I try them in the earlier season. Did you have any luck at the spot where the creek flows into the main river near the green trestle bridge?

Thanks! I think know the spot you're referring to, but aren't totally positive. I've only tried that spot once. I think it's a bit too close to the road and gets a lot of pressure. There's a pretty close relationship between where there's good fishing and how close road or quad access is. The harder to get to, the better the fishing. 🙂
