Right on time! This game looks even better then I was hoping. I'm a sucker for a good twin stick shooter. I first got into them in the arcades back in the day with a game called Smash TV. Hopefully it will sell a lot of copies so we can get more of its kind. Now I just hope Dungeon Punks turns out to be decent. The 2d side scrawling brawler! Another classic game genre I still love.

I enjoy playing a good twin stick shooter and this one looks like its no exception. The combat is intense and challenging. The sound effects, music and voice acting are well done. The game looks good, is vibrant and is full of color. It also plays smooth as well. On top of that, it manages to stand out from other twin stick shooters. I will be buying Livelock as soon as I can. Been watching your videos regularly for quite a while now. Very detailed and technical, but I do wish you focused more on atmosphere, gamefeel, and overall tone of the games for a more significant portion of your reviews. You absolutely have among the most detailed consumer-oriented reviews I can think of in terms of performance and optimization, but I often feel like artistic cohesion takes a backseat to reviewing the options menu.
wow. This is in the light of like 30 complaints I cover way too much artistic representation atmosphere and gamefeel and collating the number of times. LOL. Sometimes...sometimes everyone get something different out of these lol.
Excellent review Karak. I definitely want to buy this now. I was going to wait for a sale but your review shows it's worth it right now. Plus when you said "it was the most fun you had in a twin stick shooter since Geometry Wars" then I was sold. That is one of my all-time favorite games.
