I have recently discovered this man's preaching, it reminds me of the preacher of the church where God saved me at in 1981. I am wondering though at his statement of being anointed, it sounds somewhat Pentecostal which I know he's not. God has chosen his people for different positions in the church and it is evident that the Lord called him to be a pastor/teacher. His faithfulness to the Lord is why he is used by Him, I would have to see in the word of God where there would be any special anointing in the new testament other than the apostles. We need preachers like this man, he has laid up his treasures in heaven.
When God Almighty anoints you, you won't be happy doing anything else. But He won't anoint anyone that is not studying His Word the Holy Bible earnestly.

I cannot recall a single sermon by Pastor McConnell where no one was saved.
