I have a similar model, YKSEG700ESS2 and these instructions worked perfectly. The part number I needed was W11082269 and was called a relay by the parts supplier I used. All done in less than an hour. Very helpful video! Thank you
Before you buy a replacement board you should read this!! Check the Start button... You will see a little pad lock! Press and hold for five seconds to Unlock!! It might work! And if it doesn't, wait and see if it dries out. Put a Dehumidifier near the range for faster dry time. You see... In June 2019, I had a boiling rice water spill over on top glass of the range and it spilled below and I thought it blew out the control board. My hubby opened it up an dried it up as quickly as he could! It worked for two days! And the board went blank. The replacement was $489.00 from KA. I refuse, I told them I would buy a new range but not a KAid. Fast forward 10/19/19. Then two days ago for the hell of it I pressed the Star button n Nothing. The next day, I heard a Beep! A notice came up: Connections lost. I checked the Start button and I noticed the pad lock that said to: To Unlock press and hold for 5 seconds - And the board lit up! You see ... All good things come to those who wait. Good Luck! !m Hoping for the best for everyone out there. Please, pass this on. TY
Great info.. However, my symptoms are a bit different. All works fine except that the "on" light for one burner remains lit even after I turn it off. The burner is actually off but the light remains on. I opened the panel to maybe clean ribbon prong ends but the ribbon does not have "prongs" at the end, just soft plastic. Nothing to clean. Any thoughts? There are four elements each in a clear plastic box, and a couple look dark on the top. Looks like fuses? I can't remove the covers to inspect. Help!
Breaker keeps tripping. I reset the breaker and the KitchenAid oven screen shows "E01.00 EC053". It works for a few minutes then trips the breaker again. Worked good for 3 years but now this just happened 3 times in a row today. Thinking of replacing the Whirlpool Control Board Part# W11082269 for my KitchenAid oven model KSEG700EBS2. Around $300.00... Ouch! Can the board cause a breaker trip?
Question, I'm confused. When you click on the link above with the item number it sends you to the item page for the Display board, not the control board. Not the same part right??

My top warming element does not work. When I push the on button, I don’t hear a beep or anything. The warmer doesn’t go on. It used to work when new.
Can a control board cause a breaker to trip? All my wiring is good.

Correct the part # is for the display but video is for the control board
