Very good video brother. Super informative with LOTS of good stuff i didn't know about. Thank you for taking the time to do all of that. I'm definitely armed with knowledge on that hike now.. You rock
Hey @MartialArtsBoy I haven't personally walked the upper trails though I have heard they do have good views and are fairly easy to traverse. Sorry for the delayed response, but if you do get out there and try it out I'd love to hear what you think of the upper trails?
Hey +Roy Spaulding the suspension bridge we crossed in the video requires the walking of quite a few steps, I'd say it's about halfway down. Though if memory serves me right there is another viewpoint that doesn't require as many steps and I believe there is a bridge as well. Hope that helps :)
Going this weekend , this might be an odd question but do you think wildlife out there is something to worry about? Reason i ask is because i May bring my CCW being that this is completely my first time here and this looks like a huge park
Ohhhh my this place was hard to get to the waterfall... lol there were many stair And go through the nature( jumping and crawling on rocks, very steep rocks, )
Mountain Modern Life I would say, It was alittle much for me Bc I wasn’t use to it, but I coming back I got use to it. It was fun though, I was able to learn (:
Hey @Chase Rivera I hope I'm not too late in getting back to you. They do have some good look out points on the way down. In order to get to the bridge you will need to go down quite a few steps, if I remember correctly I believe it was about half way down to the gorge. Hopefully this helps and let me know if you guys made the journey and what you thought :)
@@Mountainmodernlife no worries. We went on Wednesday last week. Just did the steps and the bridge. Was a lot of steps but the boys were rock stars. Good times.
+angela Gonzalez the permits to access the gorge floor trail were actually FREE, Yay! But they do have a limit on how many they can give out in a day which I believe was 100. Anyway hope this helps, best wishes, Eric
Hey +John Hutcheson, we are currently using a combination of the GoPro Hero 5 Black, Iphone 7+, and a Samsung Galaxy 8+. For this video we also used our 2 Cannon DSLR cameras. You can check out the shop on our website which has a lot of the equipment listed at this link mountainmodernlife.com/product-category/our-gear/camera-equipment/ I have to admit though we still have some items to add. Anyway I hope this helps :)
Hey @Burgessoutdoorsman we haven't actually stayed at this state park so I'm not 100% sure but I did google it and it says they can accommodate tents. Anyway, hope that helps
Hey +Rysa if my memory serves me correctly I believe you can walk over the suspension bridge without the permit, I think the permit gets you through the gate at the very bottom of the gorge. Anyway hope this helps, and have fun when you get out there :)
Thanks a ton +Georgia Eat Explore & More :) We are out in California now, and we aren't really sure when we'll be back in Georgia. But if you want to send me over an email at info@mountainmodernlife.com to let me know what you had in mind that'd work. Anyway thanks for swinging by :)
I camped there two years ago and my knee went out at the bottom of the stairs so I limped and crawled my way back to my rv and I spent the rest of the stay in my rv nursing a swollen knee.
Sorry to hear that +Andy Ballard as you know those stairs are kind of crazy, just when you think you're to the bottom they keep on going. I can't even imagine making it back to the top with a knee that went out. My hat is off to you for making it happen!!
Hey +EmilyBeatriz from what I understand, you can bring your dog to the rim trails however I don't believe they're allowed down on the gorge trails. Hope that helps, here's a link I found with a better explanation www.dogfriendly.com/server/travel/uscities/guides/us/FOLDERga/usonlinega7547970ta.shtml

I have been to the falls when they were so powerful the ground vibrated!!!
Thank you so much for this video. It was really helpful. I know where to go now when I come next week.
Cool video and channel. I live in north Georgia and have camped there many times. Subbed!
I’m going Saturday! Do you think this location is good for first timers?
hello i have some breathing issues so I want to avoid stairs, but do you think the other trails have good views?
Hey @MartialArtsBoy I haven't personally walked the upper trails though I have heard they do have good views and are fairly easy to traverse. Sorry for the delayed response, but if you do get out there and try it out I'd love to hear what you think of the upper trails?
Can you do the suspension bridge without climbing a bunch of steps?

Mountain Modern Life I would say, It was alittle much for me Bc I wasn’t use to it, but I coming back I got use to it. It was fun though, I was able to learn (:
That's awesome @capbysteph I actually had the same experience haha, those steps kicked my butt the first time :)
Can you just do the bridge and not the gorge bottom? I have two little ones (5 & 3) and we will be up there next week.

Hey @Burgessoutdoorsman we haven't actually stayed at this state park so I'm not 100% sure but I did google it and it says they can accommodate tents. Anyway, hope that helps
Awesome video! Do you know if you need a permit to cross the suspension bridge?
