I appreciate you, I have a mac but my parents are old and I saw that their computer is filled with malware. So much that they have a windows home button/search that is obviously fake on the top of the window. Im gonna spend a day to help clean up their pc

Hi, what to do if i cannot proceed with scan 2? Windows version is not supported. It said that the program runs on 64 bit versions of windows 10/windows server 2016. Im using windows 8.1 Can I skip emsisoft and proceed with step 2?
cannot create bin64\epp.sys. then it says error some files could not be created...please close all applications, reboot windows and restart this installation

When you have a virus don't know download from net, task manager only what help with boot mode cmd and for me rebuild restore to system 32, don't know reset pc blocking QAZX, recovery only a batch file that's hope what have only

Windows defender is built into Windows 10. It is Microsofts Anti Virus software, you want to keep this on.

What is your opinion of using the Windows 10 Defender malware cleaner?
Defender doesn't always remove the malware fully and sometimes it fails to protect from malware even if it's in the database. There are definitely better Anti-viruses out there (like Malware bytes)

I downloaded a file one of my friends sent. It logged all my discord activity and token. It also got my address and IP even when I changed my discord passwords it updated him about it. I reinstalled windows and currently doing this method will give update.
