I'm 45 years old in September...rode alsorts of big bikes over the years, RD350LC's, 1994 CR500, Honda Fireblades, CR250's, Husky SM310....I still have the biggest grin on my face when I take my 2005 Aprilia RS50 out for a spin. The saying is true, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than it is to ride a fast bike slow. Can't beat having fun on a 50.
@TeeOna2Stroke that's interesting in europe there registered as mopeds and mostly teenagers like me ride them, and it's a whole culture here to tune them, and some even build them out to 100cc
@@GlitzyYeti I picked this bike up when I was a teen and never got rid of it. I wish we had that similar culture over here for smaller bikes because it looks fun as hell. A pack of sendas ripping the streets.
I recommend trying a bigger cylinder like an aluminum 77 cc or 80 cc. Even tho you also have to buy a bigger exhaust and carburetor, it will make it so much more faster. Rn I have a Stage6 77 cc, cylinder and a exhaust for 80cc with a 24mm carburetor, and mine goes above 70 mph.
Was it a struggle getting the derbi registered? I’m stationed in Spain and picking up a derbi myself on Tuesday. I’m wanting to bring a bike back to the states with me but idk if I can import and register it
This bike was already an us import since like 2001 so I didn't have to jump through any extra hoops. It already had a plain Pennsylvania motorcycle title that I just transferred to my state. There is this company called moto2imports, he mainly imports and registers Japanese motorcycles but he may be able to help you out.
@@akens2605 drd, I don't think so. I think drd is USD forks and dual disks up front? I just have the USD forks. Maybe that was the Pro. Not sure, they all the same thing essentially lol.

Really can't beat it, I just also find it more civilized than my other bikes hahahah
Always loved low CC bikes from 50-250cc, They are just so much fun and still slow enough to not get into too much trouble.
It is amazing 🎉🎉🎉🎉 i love your chanel very much. By the way say hello from Vietnam. Wish you happy and successful. Love
its so weird seeing someone ride a derbi in the us
There's not many of us over this way hahaha
@@TeeOna2Stroke yeah are they registersd as mopeds?
@@GlitzyYeti most states registered as plain motorcycles. A handful of states have a 50cc rule where they are considered mopeds.

I was eyeballing some 78 or 80cc when this cylinder bites the dust, that's for sure my next upgrade.
I had a 70cc airsal on my derbi senda. top speed was 110, lost my license with it. best bike.@@TeeOna2Stroke
110 km/h
@@PhoenixXCW losing your license on a senda is actually W hahaha I love that.

Not gonna lie, its upgraded to 68cc 😬
what year model is your derbi senda?

@@akens2605 Nah it's 2001 - 2010, they changed the plastics 2011
It's a 2001. Extreme or R can't remember. The USA version had the name all weird.

a derbi in states?
There are a handful scattered around over here
can you take a passenger on theses?
@@ThatGuyInOhio2 you can but I can't imagine it would be enjoyable. There are passenger pegs.
@@TeeOna2Stroke why wouldn't it be enjoyable?
@@ThatGuyInOhio2 because there's enough CC's for like one person lol two is a stretch. Unless both people weigh like 120lbs
@@TeeOna2Stroke oh okay
Are these registered as a motorcycle?
Yes they are
PLEASEEE Get a pop filter for that mic
I'm at wits end with the mic, the damn thing is covered in foam, idk what else to do
