In today's video Dr Jay Mehta is demonstrating Live Laboratory procedure for Azoospermia which is used for Non-obstructive azoospermia treatment (Azoospermia treatment ) and is one of the Advanced Technology in Treating Male Infertility at Shree IVF clinic, Mumbai. Azoospermia is a common cause of male infertility which demonstrates zero sperm count or nil sperm count. Out of all causes of azoospermia, Non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA) is the common one.
Testicular fine-needle aspiration or TEFNA the alternative method for sperm retrieval in non-obstructive azoospermia. . The average sperm retrieval in case of non-obstructive azoospermia rate varies between 55-70.
