So funny to say that we need diverse friends. I grew up in a predominantly white part of the states with very curly hair. No one I knew had any idea about how to care for curls. Then I move to So Cal and made much more diverse friends. My cousin married a black woman and I learned from her family how to care for my hair. I’m white and my hair isn’t exactly the same but I finally learned some great tips. Also Jewish friends whose hair is more like mine(Swedish and Native American so thick but ringlet curls). We needs diverse friends. I totally could have told Tyler Perry about windburn. Grew up in the wind surfing capital of the world in WA. Maybe he could teach me something about the wonders of the growing up in the Deep South in a black family. Lotta rich history there. 😊 Gotta love and admire Tyler Perry and all he’s accomplished in his life and given back to Atlanta, Georgia and the world
