I think you'd be better off adding a light that's covered in resin like an LED. You don't want pieces of broken glass in your cake when you cut it.
I love how she doesn't just cut out the parts in the video that she messed up in, but includes them in the video to show that it's okay to make mistakes. Something not a lot of people would do❤

One day, me and my siblings were looking at cake fails, and saw a lot of hedgehogs. I think it would be cool to see you attempt one.

You should make a tv cake that actually works! You could use a projector and have like the cake remote and tv stand. Maybe an old-school tv or a flat screen tv, either one
Absolutely fabulous! The glow from the little bulb was the perfect touch.
You should've added some blue color to that first gelatin to match the color perfectly!

There are definitely brands of agar with more or less of a tint to it. Just like with Gelatin, it would take some experimentation.

for yellow tint gelatines u should put a little bit of a blue tint! it will make it white with the right amount

I love this cake! I love how when things didn’t go your way, you didn’t give up. 😊 The gelatin does have a yellow hint to it, but I still think it turned out amazing! More amazing than most people could have made it!

I wonder if you added a slight bit of blue or purple to the gelatin it would turn more white? Not sure if you've attempted it before. It would be a miniscule amount. Honestly it doesn't need it though! It still looks awesome.

I’ve been asking forever and I really really want you to do this idea. Can you make a snow globe and make the snow actually move around. I think it would be very interesting to see how you make the snow move around but also make this little decorations inside of it.
For the yellow gelatin, wouldn't adding a *tiny* bit of purple food coloring counteract the yellow colour and make it more neutral? Just like for blonde hair to make it more white
I'd really love to see a Jack o'Lantern that lights up! Ooh and it be really cool to add a bit of dry ice so it smokes too like a creepy graveyard!
You should try Agar agar for a clear gelatin! It's what's used for raindrop cakes!

I was thinking that maybe using melted sugar would give you the really clear effect of the lightbulb glass and then maybe using a pearlescent luster dust would make it opaque but still transparent enough for the light to come through. Gelatin was a really interesting choice though

I am not sure if you have tried this before. Have you tried barely, and I mean barely, tinting the regular gelatin with a lavender hue to neutralize the yellow tint? I do not work with Gelatin enough to know if this will work, but I was a cosmetologist for 14 years before becoming a chef.

I commented on the water bottle cake about this, but try agar agar! It’s a gelatin substitute that is extremely clear. It’s used for raindrop cakes

I don't know if this helps you feel better about the Jell-O not being able to be clear, but there are LED light bulbs (which is the kind you recreated) that actually are yellow tinted but looks somewhat clear. Believe me, it sucks when you have a light fixture with two clear bulbs and a burnt out third one which you replace with a yellow one. Anyways, awesome job!
