- This is a compilation of the, in my opinion, biggest and best 12" and 16" fireworks shells I've shot in the last 2 years (2020-2023). The list includes some of the world's biggest & best fireworks shells for "regular consumers".
It was really hard making this list and the top 5 is absolutely bonkers!

DelVicario still remains the king of making this caliber of shells. The timing and color in their shells is insanely good and yet it salice magenta e flash + centro magenta e flash remains my favorite on this list. Keep up the good work
But they can't afford Japanese shells for comparison!

@@passioneNL Both. Funny everybody was boasting the Chinese for the Winter Olympics closing ceremony fireworks, when in fact they were from a Japanese firm Marugoh!
@@terrywilder9 Let me say that we cannot get Japanese Shells in Europe because it is 1.1 class (transported ban since 2017) and does not have CE. Don't forget that 16" in this video costs around €500,- euro (2021) plus extra VAT and transport, so you're at €770 euro per shell. So it's not about being able to afford it, but that we can't import it. Don't forget that there are currently companies in Italy that make better Japanese Shells than in Japan.
I could watch these fireworks every day and never get bored.
Just move next to Disneyland they have them every night.

To me #10 could’ve been rated higher, but I truly enjoyed watching them all 😍😍
#10 is the best... if the 1st initial burst was a willow, it looked like it was shifted or bad pack, but that second burst on #10, was like you said "ohhh wow-ie" 🤩

Thanks for posting. All 10 of these were just absolutely amazing. I would think watching vid doesn't even come close to the experience of a front row seat at the sites where they were launched.
Particularly my favs are 3,4, and 10! Hey, I have some 5 Gallon buckets laying around for firing tubes and some matches let's party! 😎🙂👍

Omg. !!!!! Those secondary and even third explosions and color changes. Masterpieces. Makes me wish I learned and studied master fireworks.

I really like to see the big shells one at a time and watch the whole event like this, versus buried in a busy display.
Totally agree. I really think it's a better idea to go quality vs quantity when it comes to fireworks.
I believed the best place to view large fireworks is close to the launch tube and directly under the exploded shell. This brings the best 3D view aspect to it.
agreed.. way cooler.. but they must not do this in public settings because of the hazard? be my guess..
Always love being the show coordinator and having the best views right by the tube. Not sure I would want to be within 15 feet of these shells launching off lol
@@tatestovall6040. I wouldn’t dare be around those giant tube that close. But I’d give big bucks ticket to be in the 50-100 feet of these tube at least once. ;). You must have a heck of a view being coordinator for those.

Number 2 and number 1 are insane...as an amature pyro this video was amazing.
AWESOME SHOW! I just listened this on my home theater 15 inches subwoofer it was a blast! You'll need a powerful 15 inches subwoofer with hometheater amplifier to feel it!

Stunning display! As a noob, on these large shells is there a rocket motor burning all the way up, or do they get that high just from an impulse burn in the tube?
Good question! There is no extra motor on these. They get to their altitude only by the lift charge (the bang in the beginning). It's like a cannon that is shooting straight up in the air.
Look on internet for a shell image, the round, sticking out part at the bottom is actually the launching powder.

We do. Go to professional display in major city on 4th of July. NYC, Atlanta, Miami, Nashville, Washington,DC, Philadelphia.. Any capital city will have a display.
