    Tyler is a great little city

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Tyler is indeed a charming city! Known as the **Rose Capital of the World**, it's full of beauty, culture, and southern hospitality. Tyler is a great place for those who enjoy a slower-paced, more relaxed lifestyle compared to the hustle and bustle of larger cities like Houston.
      ### Highlights of Tyler:
      - **Natural Beauty**: The city is home to beautiful parks, lakes, and the **Tyler Rose Garden**, which is one of the largest public rose gardens in the country. If you love greenery and nature, it's an ideal place.
      - **Affordable Living**: Compared to Houston, Tyler is much more affordable in terms of both real estate and living expenses. It's a great spot for those looking to live comfortably without the steep property taxes and prices.
      - **Small-Town Charm**: Tyler has a rich history and a close-knit community, with plenty of local businesses, quaint shops, and unique restaurants.
      - **Outdoor Activities**: If you're into outdoor activities, Tyler offers a wide variety of options, from hiking and boating to fishing and exploring local parks.
      It may not offer the same urban conveniences as Houston, but it's a perfect place for people who value a relaxed pace and nature. Are you thinking about moving there or investing in property in Tyler? Let me know if you need more information! 😊

    Beautiful homes! However, that looks like a direct hit type of area for a Hurricane?

    • @sherocks915
      @sherocks915 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Closer to the water doesn't mean a direct hit. We get high winds, but Houston gets more of the water and power outtage issues. This area is on TNMP instead of Centerpoint.

      Great observation! Yes, Houston and many parts of Texas are indeed in a hurricane-prone area, especially along the Gulf Coast. However, many homes in Houston are built to withstand extreme weather, with features like hurricane-resistant windows and reinforced structures. If you're considering relocating here, it’s always a good idea to check out flood zones and ensure your home has the proper insurance coverage for storms. What are your thoughts on living in a hurricane-prone area? Are you looking for homes with extra storm protection?

    Should talk about the crime rate in these suburbs.

      My aunt and uncle live here and never have I once heard a siren

    • @sherocks915

      There's no crime in this area compared to Houston.

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Great point! Crime rate is definitely an important factor when choosing a place to live, and it's something we should address more in our videos. Suburbs in Houston vary in terms of safety, and while some areas are very low crime, others may have occasional issues. We could definitely do a deeper dive into crime statistics and how to find neighborhoods with the best safety ratings. Would that be something you’d like to see in future content? Feel free to let us know which specific suburbs you’re most curious about!

    Me as an European I like it and I also know which part of Houston is good to live but “no green card no life there “

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Thank you for your comment! We’re so glad to hear that you like the content. You're right-without a green card or legal status, living in the U.S. can be challenging. But if you're planning to relocate or invest in Houston, there are some great areas to consider once your visa or green card is sorted. Houston is a very diverse city with many communities that welcome people from all over the world. Do you have any specific areas of Houston you're interested in, or are you still exploring options?

    Great convenience for the in-laws to be able to wash clothes for the family... 😬

    • @houstontexasliving33
      @houstontexasliving33  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Haha, absolutely! It's always nice to have that extra space for convenience, especially when family visits. A well-located laundry room can definitely make life easier for everyone. Are you considering a home with a separate laundry area, or do you prefer one that's more centralized? Let us know what you’re looking for! 😊
