So, I just did my round trip and I am so happy with my decision. The Club Suite was ultra roomy and the bed was very comfortable. Slept a good 4 hours from Austin to London and was never wanting more space. I had the filet for dinner and it was GREAT! Seriously shocked at how nice the cut was. In fact, the food in general was very good. All in all, very pleased. Pick 9A or 9K because you get 2 full windows. 😉

Thanks a lot for watching! I think it really depends on what makes you anxious about flying. Is it the lack of space? I know suffer from claustrophobia and to them the extra space makes a huge difference 😊
Hi, iam due to fly business class to san diego next month and watching your video. I know you can use the contents in the wash bag, do you have to leave the wash bag on the seat when you leave or do you keep it a d same with the headphones.

We are scheduled to fly BA business class from San Diego to London in December. Did I understand correctly from the video that simply having a Business Class ticket gains one access to the B lounge area in Heathrow as shown in the video?
Thanks for watching, Robert! If you are flying in Business Class you can use any of the lounges in Terminal 5 including B gates and the other two in the main terminal building (North and South Galleries).
I personally like the B gates lounge more as it’s far more private - the other two in A gates can be used by short haul passengers too. Let me know if I answered your question! 😊
Yes, if you have a business class ticket you get to access the lounge, that’s standard on any international carrier
Great video. BA have finally realised their 2-4-2 configurations in Club World were archaic and a terrible business class product, so these new seats get them back onto the playing field. They are a very decent product - not in the league of Etihad/Emirates etc. - but good enough to entice people back.

They realized that along time ago they were just conserving Capital cost, which actually probably was not a bad idea in hindsight
BA club suite is much better than old yin yang design. However, BA is still delayed retrofit the new cabin and the club suite even though is great, but still lack behind Qatar Qsuite. Basically, by the time BA has fully retrofit the club suite, the product is already dated in the market and BA will hold on to this product, for at least another 2 decades.
Very nice video. Are the First Class and Business Class lounges located at the gate area? We have almost 4 hours layover so I think there's time to stop by the lounge.
10 years ago, we checked in. After security, we looked at the schedule board and no gate was assigned yet. We sat near that board because we were just nervous we might miss that announcement. , gate no. was posted, people were running to the lift, we were transported by a bus, and then walked straight to our gate. We did not even checked were the lounge was. It was like a madhouse. After that we decided not to take BA and avoided LHR. Next year we might give them a try again.

All lounges are airside (once you clear security). If you fly First you have your own First dedicated check-in and security area, and the lounge is right after security.
For Business Class you can use any of the three lounges - there are two in A gates and one in B gates. All of them are close to the boarding gates, except if your flight departs from Gates C. In that case you will have to take the train, but it’s a very short ride!
All lounges have a customer service booth, so if you tend to worry about when to go to the gate, just ask them to let you know when your flight is ready for boarding.

Have to say I was surprised by the change of the seating layout, but not much by the food.Flying Emirates, Singapore , Cathay or Etihad and EVA Airlines shows just how delicious the food can be. There are many Airlines to choose from these days and my trips make me quite critical. There is a new Airline out of Tiawan to LA- I will try out (Starlux) next time my business allows. BA still have a way to go.
Hey John! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Agree that food can be improved even further - I find catering on Middle Eastern carriers to be superior even in Economy.

I've flown this product to LA and they tend to focus on homely, British food. It's familiar food done very well, but it's not fine dining by any means. I didn't fly Business on return so can't comment, I flew premium but ate in the airport so didn't eat on board.
I had beef short rib, it was very good but definitely not as dressed up as the food on ME carriers.
It is good but I could find no convenient place for my iPad. A vast improvement on the former club seat.

I consider the A350 the best for quiet luxurious comfort on long haul flights. I tried one for the first time flying from DFW to Doha and Doha to India on Qatar Airways luxurious Business Class, considered to be the #1 Business Class in the world... The A350-1000 is made with Carbon Fiber...

@@comfytravels Qatar Airways was superb in every aspect from service, food, baggage handling, and cleanliness...and I've been blessed to have traveled Business & First with several airlines... Although I have not flown Emirates yet, and their interiors look to be the most plush of all of them....

The a350 is the most beautiful plane in the sky. In terms of comfort only the a380 can beat it!

To be fair, I think Lufthansa’s new Allegris business and first class look pretty good too, which will be launched soon when they receive the new B787 and A350. Exciting! ✈️
@@comfytravels unfortunately the Allegris Business Class will only have doors in the front row, which is a huge disadvantage compared with BA.
@@christianbayerstein5243 Good point! I used to think that the door didn't make a huge difference given the Club Suite door isn't too high, but I now truly value it as it gives that extra touch of privacy 😃
Space and seat looks good compared to AA's 777 Flagship. I think the door is just silly. What is "privacy" in the air? I mean we're not all going to start stripping and picking our noses surely? Better to create space in the cabin and as long as I'm not staring at another person the whole flight then life is good. I think the food is getting better on BA - had a great meal with them in June LHR-YUL and looking forward to trying out the A350.

I flew with Cathay recently in Business Class and must admit I missed a sliding door, especially when lying down!
I agree about the food, especially when departing from LHR. It's always hit and miss when flying from certain airports. I have to say I had my best BA meal ever on HND-LHR though! Delicious Japanese steak (yum!) ✈

While the quality of the cabin may have improved, I think BA suffer the same as other Western airlines with unionised workers who are more concerned by their feelings and workload than the paying customers comfort and needs. I have always had the best service on Middle Eastern or Asian airlines, yet European and North American can not compete on service or food...

People hate on British Airways a lot but for me they are a pretty solid airline that offers a pretty good business class product across all of their LH fleet(besides maybe the 777-200s).

The majority of businesses class is old and tired and the lounges at Heathrow are also tired overcrowded and dirty and the customer service is beyond dreadful
