I have this rubber broom thing that I use for getting doggo fur out of carpets, which works great, and doesn't send my dogs into a tailspin because vacuums are the enemy and we must defend mom from them 🤦♀️

I find the undercoat rakes used to groom them when shedding are also fantastic for cleaning the hair from carpets. You do need to get down on hands and knees but if the hoover is busted, it works wonders.
I am so glad I don't have carpets in my home. My dog sheds hair basically non-stop.

Question for any wildlife experts or people who know a lot about wolves: is tangerine basically like catnip for any wolf out there? Or does it seem like it's more a thing for this fluff-wuff here?

Wolves like anything with a strong scent. They like to roll in it both to add it to their own smell, and also to leave their smell on it.
Wolves have scent glands in their cheeks, hence why they rub their face and shoulders on things.
I can't say that I'm an expert, but I do have experience working at a wolf sanctuary, and have had a few wolf content dogs. Observationally I would say this is a wolf thing, strong scents, essential oils are something wolves are drawn to. I don't have a scientific reason why. My dogs don't have the same reaction as the wolf dogs do. The tangerine love may just be a Kane thing, but it does match up with what I have experienced with other wolves/wolf dogs.

To clean the carpet you might try a rubber broom - if these are available in the US? They're pretty cheap, and you may clean a larger area in one stroke. The fluff will stick to it and can easily be removed.

Is that essential oil? Isn't citrus essential oil toxic for dogs? I have been wanting to buy essential oils to diffuse in the house but because I have a dog, I don't want to take any chances.
Broooo, foot drag, go put some sliders on and drag your feet along the floor, hands down the easiest way to harvest those carpet clouds.
I would suggest a leaf rake, put some weight on it like maybe 1/2 # or invest in hardwood floors

It's the usual dog/cat relationship in the sense of the cat will openly taunt the dogs (earlier video) and the dogs chase the cat but they do get along (kind of like most siblings)
