Oh my gosh. The memories are flooding in. I remember watching this on VHS as a kid and before the movie started, it played a preview of the TMNT 3 soundtrack and this song was played. I miss my childhood. I'm 33 now. The 90s were the best.

I was five years old when this movie came out. I remember screaming my brains out when I watched it in the theaters. My mother had to calm my ass down. My dad just laughed. I was a huge teenage mutant Ninja turtles fan back then. So we're most of my friends. God i miss them. Haven't seen them in years. I miss my childhood even more now. You grow up just too fast. When you start out life is fun nothing else matters in the world. Then you grew up and shit hits the fan lol.
Being a late 80s kid was fuc*** awesome. Damn the content was so much more memorable

Baltimora actually re-recorded/remixed it in 1993. The real question is why they used the original version of the song rather than the updated version for the soundtrack.
Well it was a hit back in 1985 but it reentered the Billboard chart in 1993.

Despite what people feel about Ninja Turtles 3, this song was one of the redeeming qualities.
I was so obsessed with this song because of this movie, I actually took a tape recorder, held it to the TV and let the end credits roll as I recorded. I'm so glad I had a quality youth, but then I guess I'm antiquated by modern standards.

I STILL listen to this from time to time
The first time I saw the video to this song was back in 1988 on MTV with Martha Quinn on the air presenting the video. I immediate fell in love with the song but sadly I did not notice who the artist was only the title of the song. For a long time I went crazy trying to find out who the artist was and it wasn't until I started working the graveyard shift at Wall-Mart in 1993 when one of my ex co-workers who was a music freak, helped me with the issue when out of the blue I asked him about the song just to test his knowledge, he told me: "oh yeah, tarzan boy, I know who's sings it. Its Baltimora." He even mentioned that the song was part of the soundtrack from TMNT 3 the movie. that morning after work I headed straight to the mall just to buy the single (on a cassette back then) I was blown away! It was worth the wait.

The Way They Say Ohhhhh Ohhh Ohhhh Is So Beautiful
TMNT III isn't the greatest movie (yes it ranks dead last in both my TMNT movie countdowns) & I said the only real advantage it has over TMNT II is that the turtles actually use their weapons.
However, there is 1 thing I do have to give this movie credit for & that is its soundtrack.
ZZ Top's Can't Stop Rockin, Ya Kid K's Rockin Over The Beat & Baltimora's Tarzan Boy were awesome songs in this movie.
Not only did TMNT 3 use this song so did Beverly Hills Ninja & Stranger Things Season 4.
