Building a 24hp Hudson Hunslet Diesel Locomotive in 16mm Scale: First Track Test

There is only one new part in this video, the top of the engine cover. The engine cover, however, allows me to assemble an almost complete locomotive for the first time and to give it a test on the track.
Whilst I know most of the pieces need some additional work (yes I know I keep going on about the foot-well) it's exciting to finally see something that looks almost complete running around the track!

I'm still tempted to see if I can form the metal sections without resorting to etching them. Will keep the cost down and should allow me to offer kits more flexibly as well. Assuming I manage to pull it all together I should be able to make the parts available and I'll do an announcement video when that happens, so feel free to subscribe so you don't miss it.
