Im a old g 44 years old and this game bring me back to fighting games. The speed , combos, graphics, and the feeling of learn how to play and execute my main character. And the best part I learn a lot from my son. Love Max from Brasil.
I remember when the characters had gold forms and black shadow forms which made them so freaking fast I picked the black shadow form with chip zaniff and I think it was Guilty Gear double X core or something now THAT was a fighting game.

I think this season is going to be about bringing back the characters everyone wants to see. Johnny, Slayer, Dizzy, etc. I don’t see them coming up with new original characters.

they should put literally every character from the old games(that would make sense) into strive. if they did that, by the end of strive's lifecycle it'd be a ~50 character fighter--still very manageable, and it'd have everyone's fave updated to the new gen
I was never sold on Strive personally but they should do a season 4 or 5 tbh. While it's not the Gear game i wanted I'm happy Daisuke and company are enjoying the success of their own game after years of obscurity.

They added in rage attack from granblue to strive. Its a guard break that acts like a combo extender.
Its just the Blitz mechanic from XRD but rebranded and instead of using meter it uses burst
Not a guard break per se, you don't get free damage from what I can tell. You just get a mixup on block.
