A great film. Someone lent it me just 'cause I like honda cubs, but it turned out to be the best film I'd seen in a while. The cinematography of the Pennines is brilliant.

Kate has been gigging in the U.S.A. for years. The second time I saw her was at McCabes Guitar Imporium in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, California in 2001. It was a very early gig and was Standing Room Only, of course! Best wishes, you've a lot of fantastic back catalogue to catch up on. Enjoy! : )

@kts68 Thank you very much for the recommendation. This film seems most intriguing and it looks like I shall be able to acquire it from Amazon.com. As for Kate Rusby, what an extraordinary talent. I regret that I discovered her only last month. I'll be in the UK in just a couple of weeks, but not in time to catch her set at the Cambridge folk festival. Oh well, I'll pick up some of her CDs when I'm in London. Perhaps she'll tour the US some day. Love her northern accent! Cordially, EP.
@kts68 Thank you for the additional information. I'll definitely check out Kate's seasonal album and keep an eye on her web site. There is a semi-annual folk festival in our part of the US that does draw some international talent. I'll put her name before the organizers -- Who knows? Maybe she could be lured south on her next trip to North America. She is a remarkable talent. Her band is excellent, too.

It's an amazing segment of a very good movie, and thank you for posting it, but please, repost with the whole song playing out. The end felt like a rug was pulled out from under me.
DeanMk1 Sorry for the late reply. I've only just got my account back. The clip finishes where it does because that's where the song finishes - it doesn't play out in full. I wish it did because it's beautiful. The best version of "I Wonder.." (IMO) is on Kate's album 10, which is closest to how she sings it in this clip.
cdeford Thank you for taking the time to address my comment. I've seen the movie a couple of times and I seem to remember the song fading out as we enter into the next scene, outside on the lawn. I was hoping that you'd at least let the song fade out. Oh well, I can always go back and watch the movie. I agree, its a beautiful song, as are many that Kate Rusby does. I became a fan because of this sequence. Anyway, thanks for posting it.
