Welcome and hello,
I live in West Wales, United Kingdom and I occasionally read and record a few stories and put them on here, just for a bit of fun and if some of you enjoy listening that's fine with me.
Thanks, Nick

P. G. Wodehouse, Jeeves and the Greasy Bird. Short story audiobook read by Nick Martin.
Written a lot later in 1965 and twice the usual length, the very lovable Bertie Wooster is still helping out his pals and family and of course requires a little back up from Jeeves to complete the desired results. Many of the familiar characters are here, including the Glossops and Aunt Dahlia, plus some new ones that Bertie will no doubt be pleased to never see again.

A ghost story it may well be and a Wodehouse classic it certainly is. With its quirky characters and dry gentle cutting humour, it is set in the English countryside in the mid 1920's - during that wonderful couple of decades between the two world wars.

Meri Kirihimete from New Zealand and thank you so much for this generous gift Nick. Did you put that "buy me a coffee" link handy?
It's truly a visit from "St. Nick"! (See what I did there?😉) Thank you for the fabulous gift of making these characters come to life. My favorite part of any of your readings is the way you express when Bertie says, "WHAAA?" 😂 Why don't you have a Grammy?🏆🤷♀️Happy Christmas and the Merriest of New Years to you, sir! ❤
Dear Lord “M” - Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa came early - thank you for inviting us to the Xmas party! Holiday cheers to YOU and YOURS :). Cheers, julie
One of these PG stories I've heard. Thank you.
I really enjoyed the narration and acting! The 'voice' adopted for Bertie Wooster reminds me at times of Eric Blore, a British actor from the 30's and 40's. Thank you so much for sharing these!
Beauty, best Xmas present.
A wonderful Christmas present, thank you so much.
You are without doubt the very best narrator of Jeeves and Bertie and indeed PG Wodehouse. Thank you so much for another much appreciated treat. Would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year ❤

Many thanks to all of you that have tuned in over the past year and thank you too for all the comments - the appreciation is warmly reciprocated! The first PGW story that I read for this channel was The Yuletide Spirit and now four years later it is the festive season once more in Bertie Wooster’s world. Merry Christmas all!
