To be fare your explanation has been the better one so far that i have found. Unfortunately j&s don't stock the pinlock for my spada. I still appreciate the good information though 👍
This is helpful. It's been raining quite a bit where I live and the humidity may be the reason why my pinlock is suddenly no longer "working". I had thought the seal had degraded, hopefully by drying it out as you mentioned it'll be fixed up.
@@Valorcycle thanks. Having problems in rain and when there is a lot of humidity. But in my case only right side of pinlock fogs. Pinlock is approx. 6months old.
The pinlock acts like double glazing in a home. Trick. The pinlock has an anti fog treatment, you can get more from the auto shop. Occasionally clean and apply anti fog to the inside of the shield and both sides of the pinlock shield. Do the pinlock install in a walk-in refrigerator where there is cold ‘dry’ air. The local liquor outlet works for me. That way you will have dry moisture free air ‘inside’ your pinlock shield nothing that can condense.
Brand new Pinlock, fitted correctly ,and just after 10 to 15 mins riding time this us exactly what happens to mine ,surely this is not exceptable? So far Very Very disappointed with my first purchase of a Pinlock!
Hi team, If the pinlock keeps absorbing moisture and the pinlock itself fogs up, what needs to be done? Also, if the silicone seal becomes loose, how can I revive it?
Thank you. Should’ve watch this first before I throw out my last pinlock. 😂

Very nice work 👊🏻
Well done. Well explained. Like deserved.
Thanks a lot !! This video explains everything
How many times can the pinlock generally be dried out and reused before it fails and needs replacement?
Really informative. Thank you!

Must be a knockoff, try purchasing with genuine dealers , I've been using it for more than a year now , it's all scratched up , but no steam on it
Thank you for the video very informative especially about the screw, can you have a pinlock lens without that silicone seal or it means its a fake?
Hi team,
If the pinlock keeps absorbing moisture and the pinlock itself fogs up, what needs to be done? Also, if the silicone seal becomes loose, how can I revive it?
The pinlock is made of plastic. It has a fog resistant coating. You can apply more, get it from the local auto shop.
So how fo you adjust the pins? First push them out without the pinlock?
Tinted visor or tinted pinlock?
you just saved me 40 bucks
Hi I've tried to tighten the pinlock with the pins in multiple positions but it still fall out
so pinlock has a shelf life ?
How long would you expect one to last?
My pinlock fogs in rain
What might be the problem?
He literally just explained it 😂
Yeah probably my pinlock can't handle the asian humidity, especially when it rains. prolly need to coat the visor with anti fog too
