Amen. It's like asking Wilt Chamberlain not to score 100 points in that one game. If you don't want the other team to pass to Wilt and get him 100 points, then figure out how to stop it. Let's see the football equivalent of Wilt's 100-point game.
And this right here is why I think McDaniel should've run a few more plays in the Miami-Denver game this week. 10 more yards and 1 field goal and they would've set two NFL records in one drive. 50-point lead? Why not fuck around a little bit? There's no way you could ever embarrass anyone more, in my opinion, than not hitting a mark because you pity the opponent.
Absolutely. Bitching and whining that the other side are running up the yards or running up the score is basically saying to the media "my team is shit and we couldn't stop them, even in garbage time". Be better, and fucking stop them.
I just dont understand. Why whine about a team doing unnecessary offensive plays against you when you’re clearly willing to do it to other teams? Why should it matter if they do it to you? In the game that Brady didn't shake Foles' hand, Brady threw an incomplete pass on 4th down and the game was pretty much over. After that play he stood there and held up 4 fingers like he thought he had another down. 😄
Yep, it was completely stunning how he'd lost track of downs and lost the game. This year he and the Buccs weren't messing around AT ALL with my bears tho.
Yup. And it was third down, so if they failed to convert Baltimore would get the ball back with a decent amount of time left. Yeah, it was a three score game but stranger things have happened. The Ravens definitely would have attempted to keep playing and score so no reason why the Bengals shouldn't have done what was necessary to seal the win.
I don’t disagree with you at all. Especially at the professional level but when a game’s over it’s over. I get that it’s not over until time runs out but you get what I mean. The only sport where it’s never really over is baseball. No time limits and anything can happen

There's another great example involving Jim Harbaugh at Stanford. Mans was blowing out UCS, and when his team had 42 points and scored a touchdown, he went for a meaningless two-point conversion just to get to 50 points. That was the moment that made Pete Carroll after the game run up to him and say "What's your deal?". Lol

He escaped without punishment while the school had to vacate win, at least one title and Reggie was punished as well. Zero sympathy for the man. His players have also come out and mentioned how they are encouraged to push the rules to the limit and force the officials to throw flags and enforce penalties such as holding on offense and defense in the secondary and on the defensive line to free up linebackers vs the run. Lynch himself has spoken about, as has Brandon Browner, Sherman, Earl Thomas and others. The game can’t end on a defensive penalty. The Ravens would keep getting untimed downs if the clock ran out. And if the Broncos did it continually, the refs could penalize them for a palpably unfair act (deliberately committing multiple penalties to stifle an opponent play).

Funny thing is in todays game, the announcers were talking about how the Bronco fan base would certainly go to war for Vic. How happy they are with him. I was watching thinking wtf are they talking about. Espn commentators have to be the worst.
I think running on to the field with like more than 10 seconds left should be a penalty. If I was a coach I'd always call time out with one second left even if everyone was on the field so they'd have to clear them off and run one last play
The Steelers tried to do this for Bens final game. You could hear the whistle being blown, but half of the stadium was on the field so they just rolled with it.
Titans vs Ravens: Don't dance on the other teams logo. Buccaneers vs Bears: Team members of opposing teams should meet on the middle of the field to congratulate each other. 49ers vs Lions: Don't celebrate so exuberant when going to shake the opposing Coach's hand and don't brush them off like that. Ravens vs Bangles: don't throw a 50 yard bomb when the game is already over. Whichever team vs Jets in this clip: just take a knee when your winning and the game is basically over. So yeah the basic unwritten rule that was broken was not showing respect to the opposing team when they won.
The irony of one minute Harbaugh saying he didnt care about the Broncos being upset, then the very next clip is him throwing a tantrum because the Bengals did the same thing to him.

But the play to get some stupid record, possibly causing injuries for meaningless shit, THAT'S FINE? Anyone else notice how many of these involved Ravens (Harbaugh) 49ers (Harbaugh)? Also, why show Matt Lafleur, GB coach, after pounding Minnesota, in the thumbnail but not in the video?
No body heard Harbaugh so anything someone who thought they could read lips watched the handshake for all we know Harbaugh could’ve just said good game
The GB-MN thing was just clickbait. There was no hard feelings or anything there with the score. And I'm a Vikings fan. MN was trying a comeback yet down by a lot and GB then got another score. Maybe if Zimmer would have coached that way instead of letting every other team come back and win by one point, he wouldn't be about to be replaced.
Harbaughs don't mind breaking rules, written or not. I remember the ref-lockout, 49ers were trailing the Vikings in Minnesota. Harbaugh takes his last timeout, then marches to the Ref "I wanna challenge, but am out of Timouts, how does it work?" Like he doesn't know the rules and ends up getting that challenge and his timeout back. Uses it to challenge once more afterwards IIRC and then finally takes it. Replacement Refs were bad, but no needs to actively confuse and gaslight them like that. He openly talked about doing it afterwards as well. Vikings still won.

Pretty sure the deflate scandal wasn’t the first time the pats got in trouble for cheating accusations and the disrespect belicheck and brady give to their opponents just shows they think their better then everyone else and “deserve” the wins over anyone else. And people who feel they deserve something are among the groups most likely to cheat outside of people who are just straight up bad at the game along with knowing how to hide it better then others.

The Steelers tried to do this for Bens final game. You could hear the whistle being blown, but half of the stadium was on the field so they just rolled with it.
Maybe post what unwritten rule each team is breaking so I can understand the video?
Running up the score when you already won the game. Disrespecting the other teams logo.
But who ran up the score?
Respect. That's the unwritten rule.
People just need to grow up. If they don’t like something, they win the game.
The irony of one minute Harbaugh saying he didnt care about the Broncos being upset, then the very next clip is him throwing a tantrum because the Bengals did the same thing to him.
When Brady ran off the field like a baby cuz he lost that was my fav part 😂
I like how Harbaugh’s Ravens make this video for running for 4 yards, but not Fangio’s Broncos for trying to score a TD down 16 with 10 seconds left. Shows a real fair, totally unbiased view of things.
Meh not really the same thing, usually the team that is down double digits tries to score to the end
@@zkurtz21 what they gonna do score a 16pt td?

listen man, as a bears fan, we don’t get too many things. So when I was watching this game after practice and seeing tom brady lose to nick foles on the bears, brings a smile to my face
😂. Funny!
The best was Hank Strams answer to a field reporter while running off the field after a big loss " coach how do you feel about your teams execution today? Without a blink Hank turned and said "I'm all for it" 😆
That wasn't him, that the original coach for the Bucs in one of their first seasons.
@@ibn1989 Hank said this in the 60s. Buc's first year was in 1978. He might have also said it but Hank gets the credit.
@@coololdluke3905 The Bucs first year was 1976
@@ibn1989 yep 76. Funny I just googled it and it gave 74 as the official year. But looking at the year end results 76 was their first year actually playing.
John Harbaugh runs a play to set a record, but is then upset when a pass is thrown against him. Glass houses, baby.
So BOTH Harbaugh bros are in this video? Shocking. John Harbaugh has his Ravens offense run another running play to get some stupid record at the end of a game, and that's just fine. All smiles. However, after the Bengals QB throws for 525 yds in response to Ravens coach talking shit about him, saying he's not that good, hasn't done anything, "not get him a gold jacket yet," suddenly THAT 525 in RESPONSE is a problem? But the play to get some stupid record, possibly causing injuries for meaningless shit, THAT'S FINE? Anyone else notice how many of these involved Ravens (Harbaugh) 49ers (Harbaugh)?
Also, why show Matt Lafleur, GB coach, after pounding Minnesota, in the thumbnail but not in the video?
No body heard Harbaugh so anything someone who thought they could read lips watched the handshake for all we know Harbaugh could’ve just said good game
@@christianprowell8577 espn=cnn
My first thought went to Daddy Harbaugh, who obviously raised the boys to be hyper competitive, but left out the sportsmanship stuff.
The GB-MN thing was just clickbait. There was no hard feelings or anything there with the score. And I'm a Vikings fan. MN was trying a comeback yet down by a lot and GB then got another score. Maybe if Zimmer would have coached that way instead of letting every other team come back and win by one point, he wouldn't be about to be replaced.
also lot of broncos our coach is a poor sport
I like how there is no explanation, you could just see what rule was being broken
Brady playing trying to play head games with Nick Foles by not acknowledging him is hilarious. Nick owns his soul.
Ooof breaks my heart to see Chicago QB looking for Brady
Lmaooo I love the broncos qb getting fucking blasted TWICE after they chose not to victory formation

@@venomouspro9646 you are up 9 points with less then 20 sec left, punt the ball the other team with kneel they can’t win

Wtf was the thumbnail of the Packer head coach? He wasn't in the video
Symbolism of teams rushing the field with 30 seconds or less on the clock. And not waiting until 0
