The degreaser I find just doesn't work especially compared to muc off chain cleaner that cleans incredible. Maybe it has to be used to clean the own brand lube ?
Interesting point - might be the case that they compliment each other. However, I also think these formulas still need a bit of good old fashioned elbow grease.
@@TimFromWales I tried it on a old push bike chain that I used motorbike chain spray on and it was as much use as tap water. I cleaned it off with turpentine and then used muc off wet lube. Then the same it was as much use as water, even with scrubbing. Yet there TH-cam video shows it being sprayed on a hosed off revealing a sparkling chain and cassette.
@@sixtysecondsofstephens2386 I have found it to be killer for daily degreasing/cleaning. Probably less ideal for old/super built up grease but it eats up the residue build up from weekly riding and keeps my drivetrain squeaky clean!
The Degreaser bottle sounds perfect. 👍
Thanks Mark. I recorded this in a bit of a hurry cos I wanted to have another video ready to go while I was on holiday.
Thanks for the grass killer tip!
Saves you getting grief!
Appreciate the wife warning. #noted
The degreaser kill grass but they say its bio degradable? Does it also get inside the chaine?
Weed killer can be biodegradable. Just means it doesn’t pollute
It doesn't mean it's not poison or something edible 😂
Just ordered the kit

@@sixtysecondsofstephens2386 muc off wet lube leaves a unscrubable sticky residue that can only be removed with a pick before it hardens
agreed its good stuff and yeah not on grass but would be a good weed killer lol
