I took a short vacation break, and am now getting back into my routine. Foam rolling is a great way to prep those muscle before or ease them after a tough workout. Ready to go! Thank you Shona.

i have been sore for a week due to my intense gym class, and i was waking up SO stiff and in pain. i did this last night thinking "ow, i thought this was supposed to feel good" and i woke up this morning wondering why i was so happy. all my soreness is gone! YAY!

Was pretty sore after holiday ski trip to Mammoth Mountain CA; my sore muscles truly appreciated this terrific foam roll; epsom salt bath later to complete the treatment!

    Hey Shona,
I literally follow this everyday!! It’s so good when someone talks you through it and has great banter to make you forget about the pain 😂😂 are you possibly able to do an updated foam roller video? Xx

Thank you so much for this. I have a foam roller... got it while in physio for my IT band. Never really knew how to use it for other parts. Again, thanks so much for the lessons.☺

This routine feels lovely (in the most painful sort of way)--I'm going to try to incorporate these moves after every workout. Could you do a routine for a post-workout stretch? Thanks, Shona!

As a runner who is training for a marathon, these foam rollers th-cam.com/users/postUgkx9XSsjzA4f84VmhBCHlyhec7XILIxennL are really good for sore and tight muscles. This one is a good size (mine is the purple, 36 inches) not too big but big enough to work and roll both my legs at the same time - I took a photo holding the roller next to me just to provide a better representation of its size. I noticed some reviewers who complained that this is, “just a foam noodle”… and yes, that’s exactly what it is. It’s a high density foam roller. It is absolutely NOT the same consistency/strength/durability/ or texture as a ‘pool noodle’ thought and I disagree entirely with those that say so. As a former collegiate athlete and marathon runner, I’m comfortably giving this roller 5 stars. It’s lightweight and durable and does just what I need it to do at a budget-friendly price. Overall, I have no complaints and am happy with it!
