i usualy make my replays in ranked but this one i did in the duel room because people were surrendering when i reached the part where i had to boost obelisk and its understandable why people scoop. but it really affects me and it wastes so much time. this combo is still a turn skip ftk/otk combo and the opponent can't do anything to stop it unless they have hand traps of course. thank you all for the support i appreciate every single one of you and thanks to saga for the amazing work he does everyday ❤

Yo hold on, I did this math for another video before. Obelisk was boosted to 65,536,000 attack points on screen. The final limiter removal doubled that power to 131,072,000 attack. The counter in MD can only count to 99,999,999 on screen. 131,072,000 points worth of damage is equivalent to OTKing 16,384 duelists in one attack, all at once. Take the YGO world championship turnout and double or even triple it, and that's how many duelists would've been taken out.

If you know Obelisk's anime effect, you understand the whole point of this. In the Anime, Obelisk could tribute two monsters to gain infinite attack. Usually, this was done bu tributing some variety of God related cards (In the Anime, Egyptian God Slime. In the PoL movie, Ra and Slifer were tributed for this effect in both the Kaiba and Anubis duel).
So, yes, you could do it with Ra and Slifer, but there's a lore reason to do it with Obelisk.

This duel reminded me the episode where the great Seto Kaiba dueled against a bot who was using his Blue-Eyes deck under a test and he was using a different deck with Obelisk and later he defeated the bot with Obelisk with infinite power.
That's exactly the episode that was being referenced in this video
he destroyed the bot, not merely defeated.
Kaiba quite literally made the duel bot explode.
"I'm sorry Herr Kaiba, all our supercomputers connected to the Duel-bot couldn't emulate te sheer size of your ego, that's why it exploded" - some programmer from kaibacorp.

If they kept the actual effect of Obelisk from the anime, it could reach Infinite Atk on its own just by sacrificing two monsters.
Course, the God Cards got disrespected hard in the actual card game.

@Sergeantassassin3: I think the reason in the animated you see the attack points goes all the way to infinity for obelisk the tourmentor, it is the effect of destroying all monster your opponent control, and dealing 4000 burn damage and since the only have 4000 life point their is not need to attack after in the animee, in the real world equivilent you need the normal trap card that support obelisk the tourmentor called soul energy Max! to do that same thing and then attack directly for game.
Well infinity attack is a bit overwhelming for a simple game. Plus obelisk would need protection to make that even worth it.
They phrase it as destroy opponent monster and gain atk until it's equal their LP if it's higher than 4k.
So essentially Obelisk will be like in the Anime, board wipe effect and can otk easily. But still lose to Mirror Force unlike the anime.
@@redace4821 you have to keep in mind, in the animee the rules are diffrent, so if an effect looks like an attack, that it is an attack that happen outside the controler battle phase, the only reason why mirror force did not work was because obelisk the tourmentor special attack was done in main phase 1, if Seto did the mistake to wait during his own battle phase to do that special attack, then ombra mirror force would have work against obelisk the tourmentor special attack, also you can see this, with slifer the sky dragon when marik controler the mime vs Yami yugi, slifer second mouth does work against defense position monster, and attack position monster, and also work against flip summoned, but notice when nightmare steal cage was active and Yugioh summoned a monster in front of slifer, and slifer the second mouth did not trigger at all. And you cannot decided if you want to used it or not, because that is why he was able to make Marik draw infinite card, and card of safe return was not optional in the animee. And even in the animee nightmare steal cage does not negated effect.
Respect to the guy who let this man get the finishing blow without surrendering by the time Obelisk maxed out his attack

@therjschannel904: He just said in the video that it was a friend room, in rank people would just scoope because it is an FTK, with a skip opponent turn, and also I don't know if you can receive more than 3,000 points in rank for the golden pass if you deal more then 9,999 you get 3,000 points for the golden pass. Because in ranking since they don't know they might think getting hit by more then 99,999 would give 30,000 points for the golden pass so that would make it too easy to reach really high on the golden pass, so I'm really sure that it is cap at 3,000 per duel. But because they don't know they think they would receive 30,000 points for the golden pass for dealing 99,999or over, or 300,000 points for dealing 999,999
I honestly can't believe Master Duel players sometimes. If you see Ghost going off, why in GODS name would you surrender? You're about to witness some of the most insane shit YGO has to offer. Truly, the modern era is bereft of class.

Working on it with Skull Servant but every time I get my damage high enough to do it the opponent leaves.
I don’t even take long turns cuz Skull Servant combos are so short. Just gonna have to get super lucky

You can try Utopia Double XyZ to Utopia Dragonar then summon Number 35 Tarantula. Then cancel Attack and use Double or Nothing Quick Spell.

I've said this in a couple videos like this, but with how the realistic dueling system works in the anime, that amount damage I feel would have wiped the unfortunate soul from existence and from all memory. Probably would have at least wiped out a city as well.

2 Skill drain,1 harpies featherduster,magic cylinder,2 ash and your deck is bassicly rendered usless. Their are 2 link monsters that are a hard counter to your deck as well.😅 deck looks fun but that deck is not getting you past gold 3 maybe gold 2 unless you're oponites are bad at the game. I've seen wing dragon of ra and slipher the sky dragon used more in decks these days so it good to see somone running a deck with my big blue boy. Their Is currently a FTK deck that uses ra and another FTK deck that uses slipher

Wow the ending yeah you got that right. I'm not trying to say Ygo is terrible or anything but the game is very far from being actually balanced. I played in the glory days from 2002 to 2009, now having gotten back into it early 2023 it has been an adjustment to say the least.
It's reasonable to understand why people are scooping to this, i would too. I mean, you lock me out of main phase 1, main phase 2, graveyard AND i see some exodia pieces in the mix ? F this i'm out, don't mind me please.

I stopped watching Yu-Gi-Oh after the first series. As impressive as this is, this is also the reason why people do not play this game anymore or play Master Duel anymore and its losing more and more people by the day. There is no fun when the only turn you have gets skipped and you watch 10 min worth of the other guys turn!
I’ve started to sit through decks like this just to see what they are doing. However if it’s the same annoying meta deck I will most likely scoop. After dueling the same deck with little variation 7-10 times in row is boring as hell.
