To answer your question. No team has ever beat the #1 ranked team in back to back weeks. 2013 FSU beat the #1 ranked team twice when they beat Auburn and earlier in the year Clemson.
watching drewski change up the entire offense and what got them there in the playoffs is classic drewski. "keep it simple" playoff hits, he tries to throw bombs every play.
i love watching these, but it's the most frustrating part of it all. i could be wrong, but i honestly think he does it on purpose to keep the series going.
Glad someone else said it. Absolutely cheesed the opposing defenses all year and then for some reason abandons that gameplan against LSU. It's so frustrating to watch sometimes.
I'd recommend using more coach xp in Architect. Your players will max quickly regardless as long as you're winning. It makes sense to level most positions to Architect level 2 (Limitless) as quickly as possible. This is how I have so many 99 overall players. Limitless is the most OP, IMO. Good luck! I hope UGF has a lot of championships in a long 20-30 year run.
I looked it up and as far as I can tell no team has ever beat the #1 ranked teams back to back, Auburn came the closest in 2017 when they beat Georgia and then two weeks later beat Alabama. So you’re the first team in history to do it! Also, you’re the first unranked team to upset the #1 ranked school twice in one year! UGF putting the whole league on notice. Put some got dang respect of UGF’s name! We should’ve been ranked after beating Tennessee and we proved it the next week. This is our year!
@sethtowry5335 did I ask you? Did I say his video was bad? No, and no. African names are hard to say I'm simply helping Drew out and nothing more nothing less. How about you mind ur business ok?
I always thought, man he has got to be just being a content creator being proud of the players on his team. So I finally made my own team, and after making the templar knights and feel like they are really my guys. Dang, I didn't even want to drop my 75 overall hb for a recruit who was a 74 freshman hahaha. I totally get it now. Thanks for the content that motivated me to have an absolute blast with cfb25 and will for a long time now. (I commented this on the last one just a bit ago, but saw as I finished the last episode, you dropped this one. So BAM here yah go for engagement as well)
The safety stopping has happened to me repeatedly during blowout games, as well as a few TH-camrs I’ve watched. As far as I can tell it’s EA’s way of forcing comebacks for teams if the blow out is crazy. I’ve had some games against FCS where for the first 3 quarters held them to nothing and were up by 50 and out of nowhere in that 4th quarter I’m plagued by fumbles, incompletions, interceptions, and TFLs etc. until the cpu puts up 3-4 touchdowns and then everything goes back to normal. It’s extremely annoying as I’m not losing based on scheme or player ratings but artificial pumping of stats. For example my worst was I was up by 5 or 6 touchdowns, and I kid you not I had three fumbles each possession I had with the team (I think it was Notre Dame) scored on each fumble (one was a defensive touchdown the other two were offensive in which my safety decided to standstill while a lob was sent right to the endzone) it just makes the game less fun vs what they thought would happen (I.e more close games=more competitive=more fun) but it fails as again it’s not the offense simply being better or me calling shite plays it’s them pumping it. It’s ridiculous :/
NBA 2k used to have the same issue. They called it rubber band AI. You were basically guaranteed to blow a big lead, and if the AI needed a shot to tie or take the lead late, it was guaranteed they'd make it, even if they were double teamed.
It took me 11 years to win the first National in my first dynasty. Heisman difficult, no editing or any shortcut. Many schools legends came short, but a true sophomore 5 stars QB took us to promise land, after losing the final in his freshman year with a terrible game. The game is not as good as it should be, but it was fun.
I’m sorry man, but you’ve really got to pull some Dr. Strange shit to find the one possible way you could lose that LSU game. That’s just downright unacceptable. That’s a whole ass level above the usual Drewski.
Just some of Drew's choices really leave me dumbfounded sometimes lol and like he doesn't need to win every game but just the WAY he actually pulls off some of these losses leave me speechless.
I remember one playthrough he said he was going to play against type and not run with the QB. That lasted until the very first play. Can't remember what series he waa doing.
You've absolutely knocked it out of the park with this series! Awesome job, dude! Once you finish it, can you please, for the love ofGod, bring back rcu or dvsu??
It was odd. He did the complete opposite of what got him into the playoffs and just fell apart. I knew it was over when he struggled defensively in the conference championship. That one felt more intentional than the LSU game imo.
I did not know about this series in the old NCAA games but this is the kind of content I love to see. And I’m always ready for the next part of the series. Keep up the great work!
It was heartbreaking. The intentional grounding play vs LSU on the 3rd to last play. rb in the slot was completely uncovered. Focused to hard on the left side.
Honestly, when you got up 28 on Georgia, I felt like I was having an out of body experience. I had to pause and take a sec to remember which timeline we were in, amazing game. Pandas are 🐐
About the tackle to TE thing: I once made a Spread Option build in NCAA 14 where I just built a team of big guys. Recruited big TEs and moved them to reciever, and I split a few OL to TE, with a few speed runningbacks converted to the slot recievers. 5,000 team rushing yards and running triple options on 3rd and 10 speaks for itself.
That playoff game was heartbreaking, but i think it's good that the Pandas didn't get their undefeated season this soon. The talent on this team is insane.
After watching Georgia come into Austin and absolutely body UT this past weekend, that Georgia game gave my bitter ass SOME sense of closure/revenge 😂. Thanks for that Drewski, new crop is looking damn exciting.
Drewski, while on defense, crowd the box nearly all the time. I like 4-6 Bear an user the free safety, bring him to the line til the blue circle and checkmark appear. That means the line is now accounting for him as a rusher, which will throw off the line/quarterback, plus nearly impossible to run off. Then run press man and youi'll be golden. If they start throwing a lot (and having success) switch to Dime 2 man under, user the safeties and keep them at the sticks, and still run press man. You're welcome.
Are you saying.... That you need to make some Quincy Chuckwuma and Tom Adamo jerseys ??? I know personally I'd pay for a UGF panda jersey !!! This series is so freaking HYPE !!!!
Being as that you're an alumnus, I'm shocked you didn't know this lol The most recent team to defeat #1 in back to back games was the 2017 Auburm Tigers who defeated SEC Champs-to be Georgia and Alabama-- the National Champions of that year Edit: i know and understand it wasn't in back to back WEEKS, but it was back to back GAMES

The UGF Pandas joins the very short list of being teams that have beaten 2 #1 teams in back to back weeks.
If you don’t count Offseason, Florida in 1996 and USC in 2003 each had their back to back wins.
If you do then the LSU tigers would win and also win in the national championship against back to back #1 teams
