You talk about the importance of Odegaard in the attacking structure, but what is ever so important in games like this with him is his ability to come down and help our back 4 build out from the back, controlling the ball with neat passing which leads to the opposition having to give up the high press and retreat. It`s the formula of what makes a ball position team.
David Raya is blowing everyone away right now, like I knew he was a pretty good keeper but he's making a case for being one of the top keepers, especially after the golden glove award for last season too. Tbh I'm not overly worried by this game. We always kinda under-perform in Europe, it'll likely take a few seasons to really gain the experience of it all for our players. Last year was the first year for a lot of our players in the CL and it's a different game to the premier league. It's not necessarily "harder" than the premier league, but it's different. I reckon we take the point and take the game experience.
26:08 been thinking similarly, instead of a "standard" back 5, we see Partey tucked back in between our CB's... feel like Jorgi to his left (coz, left-footed) with Rice to his right in midfield(ish) is not the worst way to approach Sunday... also would deffo start our biggest back 4 possible (other than, no Tomi) so give Riccardo a trial by fire imho... but encourage him to stick to defense first, with he (and Benny) looking to make a few runs outside our wingers... Citeh will park the bus and we will need to go around/find cutbacks & far post crosses...mayb?
We missed Zinchenko more than we did Odegaard. We couldn't pass the ball through the middle third. Timber inverting doesn't seem to impact the midfield as expected.
He didn’t really invert at all. It wasn’t the role he was given. Agreed it would have been a better game for zinchenko, but timber was decent, and played a very different role than zinchenko does
When someone says what an Arteta player does i.e. Martinelli isn't by direct I structure have what the game see Arteta give those exact I structure is a sensationalist and shouldn't be on the show unless he improves is vision.
I think Calafiore is going to become a legendary Arsenal player.

You reckon? Games over m8. It's all we can do.
Really worried about ode injury...we can't play "haramball" every game...lacking creativity from midfield , without our main playmaker
What ball?🤢

I think we might break Chelsea's record 15 goals conceded in a season
Arteta going prime Inter mourinho whilst odegaard is out
I'm worried about this team going foward it's like we don't no how to build up anymore lat and side and right hand side are so poor right now

Personally I don't want to see him at LB ever again.
Lol
I'm calling it now - Martinelli is done
Let's see till December ...but it's definitely a concern
Watch Highbury Squad. In short, you are missing the point.
