This video shows almost every single mile of the 96.4 Lonestar Trail! The Stubblefield Bridge is currently under construction requiring a detour around that area. We used the All trails app- in addition to the Hiker Guide found here:

I loved this. I’ve wanted to hike this trail for a very long time. Then I set aside my through-hiking dreams and put them out of my mind for a very long time. But now I remember again. I’m making a plan and I’m asking my grown daughter to join me. Thanks for taking us on your trip.

I have been wanting to do this hike for a while now and am going to pull the trigger thanks for the push! I do have two questions, first of which. What is deal with camping is it kinda at large camping or do I need to pay per sight. Secondly I'm plotting this trip with Gaia and I see alot of gaps which make it a little difficult to discern the trail. I heard that you were using All Trails. Is there a more complete map that has been plotted out that I'm not seeing or by chance did you track yourself and have a complete track. .... Jeez sorry for the long question, looking forward to hearing back.

Hey how were the ticks? I was out on it last year and they were such an issue we had to abandon at the stubblefield bridge? Ps bridge is closed but you can still cross in a pinch unless it's been completly demolished In the past 5 months.

nope.
doesnt look like a fun trail. flat and swampy
It was a blast! Fun to get away from work, do something physical and enjoy time with my friend. Just because there’s no views, or hard climbs, it’s what you make it. And we enjoyed ourselves
