I have owned the slim line for about 7 years. I was a plumber. This is such a great light for a plumber, well the last version because it had a hanging hook also. It throws a very wide beam, perfect for basements, crawl spaces, and under vanity sinks. Id suggest it to any plumber or electrician, the last version. I dont own this one yet, and may just stick with the older 700 lumen version for the hanging clip. You can clip it rite to your shirt collar or shirt pocket for hands free. I also use mine at the boat ramp. I put the magnetic base on my bow stop and have it point to my trailers rollers while loadong the boat at night. My first 2 lasted about 3 years each and only failed due to the battery failing slowly till they wouldnt take a charge. And the older version is half the price. I couldnt see the 1200 lumens difference in this video at all. And the red light and strobe are just more buttons to click. Highly recomend old version Nebo Slim

I agree with you I like the 700 Lumala much better I have both you and the keychain one is excellent. B
For your money value and functionality the 700 Nebo is the best.

I wish the battery was replaceable, but I think I still want to get it for work.
BTW, if you're still using a standard USB A to lightning for your iPhone, I highly recommend buying USB C to Lightning cables and buying 20 watt C wall adapters. You'll charge faster. Eventually iPhone will join the iPad Air and Mac Pro on having a USB C port and we'll have standard C to C cables for everything, but until then we just have to keep putting up with the dumb Lightning port.

I have the earlier model. It has two ports USB on top for charging cell phone which works. Side port (micro USB B)is for charging the flashlight itself, also works. It charges fast. The clip is plastic, is removable (twist lock), and has an additional hook that can be opened to hang the light. Magnets are on the bottom and on the clip itself. Laser pointer. Light intensity adjusts by pressing and holding and it will cycle from bright to dim and dim to bright. It will stay in the intensity setting you selected. It is a great light, costing around $25 back in 2019/2020. II recommend this light. (HL21A) Only negative point... I cant seem to figure out how to disassemble it. the two bottom screws appear to just hold on the plastic cover around the magnet, and the little plug for the side charging port came out. I wouldnt trust immersing it in water, Its definitely not water proof. Top plug is still in, so rain resistance still is okay.

I have the old Slim and the Slim+: old Slim is still going, Slim+ failed after hanging around not doing much. Nice to see the USB-C allows them to merge the 2 USB ports, shame about the compatibility/production problem for powerbank mode, but I have the other huge floodlight for that; the Interstate flashlight (5000 mAh, 37Wh).

So I have the Original Slim 500lm. The simplicity of the UI is great. I can set it to turbo and it will remember to go right back to turbo if I constantly use it during my shift. The clip fits perfectly into the the Molle webbing of my vest. Why I want to replace/upgrade is because it will not function in temps below 0 degrees. It will just keep shutting off. Have you by chance tested it in cold temps?

The original Nebo slim + 700 is one of the best flashlights you can ever buy! This new model I will not be purchasing for several reasons. 1. C to C doesn't work for charging. 2. It's considerably bigger then the Slim 700. 3. The new clip isn't better. as the old clip was perfect. 4. You don't need 1200 lumen, trust me the 700 lumen freaks people out and is plenty.

many dedicated powerbanks cant charge devices like (some) bluetooth headphones. i would not ask much from a flashlight. may i suggest a solution to charge your phone? buy a cheap and elestic silicon case and glue it on a thin wireless powerbank. i did that with a 20euros Romoss Freemos5 to charge my former phone, Samsung S9.

Gentlemen I got the Slim 1200 its an awesome work light. I used it while working in FL during the hurricane IAN aftermath, inside dark areas that had NO electricity at all. In regards to charging iPhones, it doesn’t work, neither for the IPad, but it works on my DJI drone devices and also on my Apple Beats earbuds charge case. So it definitely works on other devices.
