    The great people at NICECNC sent me this gear lever.
    Here's an install, road test and review of it. The NICECNC range covers many different models but there is a decent range of goodies available for the Yamaha Tenere 700 including this gear lever which currently sells for about AUD $60. This is great value for what it is and the quality of the item itself. On their website you can click the button top right and change your country code and it will give you a local price. Remember to use discount code RG10 for 10% discount.

    Well I had the opportunity to ride Rider Guiders bike today and I reckon that this gear lever is awesome, my bike will be getting an early Xmas present.

      Apart from mechanics at the dealer service, you're the only other person to have chucked a leg over it 😀 ... how are you going with your new lever?

    Hi Neil, Ive left a question on a video from 2 years back named "THE MOTORCYCLE CLUTCH LESSON YOU NEEDED BUT WEREN’T GIVEN".. I just wanted to let you know so i can hopefully get it answered! I wasn't sure if youtube notifies you on older video interactions. Thanks heaps, love seeing you've posted a new vid.

      Good man Dave, nice one, it's taken me a couple of days to adjust to it but I'm liking it now. It'll look great next to your Camel pegs mate :-)

      The lever end looks offset. Can't you simply unbolt it and turn it through 180 degrees and it will come back further towards the foot peg? I guess the end would fold the wrong way then though? 🤔

      @@dogfish180 yeh only folds the one way mate. It's pretty good now I've ridden the bike a couple of times I'm getting used to it.

    Can you flip the tip around in its adjustable bracket so the the tip is further back along the lever? It looks like you can which would solve your problem of it being an inch further away.

      I wasn't sure what you meant there but get it now, possibly, but because I've got Tech7 boots, I'm happier now with the longer lever, works great!

    I need to order this. I just bought some motocross boots to ride with my tenere. And i cant hardy shift with the stock lever.

      Hi mate, I've really got used to mine now with my stiff boots, the larger toe lever is helpful, and adjustable (but ensure you use threadlock on the adjusting bolt). Don't forget the discount code ;-)

    well decribed! do you think with this shift lever it can be adjusted slightly lower than the stock gear lever? I want mine a bit lower, but its maxed out.

    • @TheRiderGuider
      @TheRiderGuider  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      By the fact it’s an inch longer I reckon it will be a touch lower on the toe. Might be worth some research in relation to adjusting the gearbox connection on the spline?

      I seem to have an extra rubber spacer, any idea where it goes? i didnt see it in your video either!

      @TheRiderGuider  ปีที่แล้ว

      It goes behind one of the bolts. I left mine off but might put it back on. Can’t really see what it actually does.
