David Morrissey’s American accent always catches me off guard when I haven’t heard it in a while it’s pretty cool to know that he’s British in real life and The Governor is a great character.
This show is FULL of British actors putting on incredible southern accents lol: Rick, Morgan, and Maggie's actors are all British too.

Fun Fact- One of the heads in the fish tanks, is the head of Ben Gardner from JAWS.... Ben Gardner was the head that appeared in the ship at night when Hooper and Brody went out looking for the shark... Ben scared hooper into dropping the shark tooth.
And in comes the Governor a scary man who has managed to put a leash on Merle Dixon.
If the Governor brought the army men in they would see their Lieutenant as their commanding officer It would create a different power/authority structure and The Governor let that into Woodbury he doesn’t do that enough of his supporters would stay loyal vs how many would follow the Lieutenant’s lead if they came into conflict.
Hey guys great job on the show, I love how Anthony is liked a kid with a new toy every episode he watches. You all are a great, they did reveal who is watching Carol.
Those looks at the camera get me everytime!! When y'all talked about Merele early on I was so pumped for his return this episode! U guys haven't talked about him so his return was gonna be great. Gonna live this governor stuff with you guys and especially the next episode! One of my favorite episodes of the series!

David Morrisey, another fine English actor playing the governor. Lauren Cohen (Maggie) is British born too.
Think of the governor as the serial killer Jefferey dahmer. Nobody who knew him thought he was the killer. But he was. Because he has the good person personality on the outside.
I mean they were trained by the Army at least 15 guys with high powered rifles they would of took over Woodbury as soon as they figured out what was going on and how the Governor really moves.

The guvnor wants weak minded men and that’s what Merle is. Nobody that will question him. Old people and weak women, Andrea. The only person who did question the guvnor was Michonne. I wouldn’t say Andrea was questioning him, she was flirting with him. When I first saw this episode I didn’t catch the pilot and the pets heads, it was only after I watched again that I caught it. Anthony you’re so right his name is Bastard.
Nice reactions to this episode Anthony And Hunter :) You finally got introduced to the Governor And his community Woodbury you think he’s this great guy until he shoots up those military guys and he is clearly psycho since he has walker heads in fish tanks so he’s a nut case for sure Also Merle is Back and seems to be the Governors right hand man so that’s interesting Yup Michonne not only had those jawless and armless walkers on chains to carry her stuff but they also protect her by covering up her scent from other walkers so that’s pretty awesome to keep other walkers from getting you Anyways can’t wait for more reactions :)

The yt algorithm introduced me to y'all a few days ago. I just finished binging to current. I love how much you guys hate lori and Andrea. What makes Andrea worse is that she was one of the best characters in the books. They totally assassinated her character. --- have you seen the show all the way through? Or only to a point?

Dale didn't die on the farm in the books. The actor got pissed at the director, asked to be killed, and changed his mind last min, but they still killed him. In the books, him and andrea are a couple for a bit.
Sophia didn't die in the books.
In season one they cut a scene where our people go back to atlanta after leaving the mts, looking for the vatos (old folks guys).... to find them wiped out. - meryl says in this episode the governor found him about to die... would have been in that same area... --- i want to say something else, but its still 3 episodes out... i know you said he doesn't read the comments. ... but, i think i remember you saying you only made it so far... and i dont want to accidentally 'spoil'... so ill save that for now.
