Hey man, yes need to use the time at its best and when its so much fun, id rather skate than sit on social media at lunch. I use GoPro10, as 11 and 12 are a way more expensive, it does the job.
The secret to kickflip is in the pop the rear ball of the foot if you don't pop it nothing else matters. I almost put my small toe in the back hanging over so I get all the leverage I can. Now also there's a difference between a pop and where your putting weight on that rear leg and basically pinning it to long and your just not going to get the real pop it might be ghost pop you will feel that. It actually looks like ghost pop you were doing, so when your weight is off the board that's when things start to happen. Just remember that. Also maybe try skater trainers if your afraid of slipping out. It takes awhile to learn. When you get that crisp pop then flick you are getting real close. It's the timing that makes it hard. You will fall. It's ok. They actually have a pad that a company makes it's small not really noticeable called rhip clip. I use it on my hip I land on a lot. Good luck!🤙
