Thank you! I just bought a 2003 Element. Had no idea these were popular, but wanted something to go camping in. I have to say that I am struggling with the fact that the passenger windows don't roll down- I plan to travel with my dogs, and their favorite thing is sticking their heads out the window on slow country roads. I would love ideas about driving with dogs in the Element?
Great video- thanks for sharing! I got a 2004 EX AWD AT with about 175k miles on it in 2016, and just hit past 200k. Mine has alloy wheels, the 7 speaker sound system, which I've kept, a full size spare tire, and I sold the rear seats years ago. I drove a 1965 VW Kombi for over 30 years; my only regret is that I didn't buy an Element sooner! (I sold the VW soon after the Element purchase.) Plus, the front seats are so roomy and comfortable, unlike Toyota and Kia "toasters", where I feel cramped in their front seats! I just subbed, and wonder why there are so many views, and so few likes? Cheers from Oklahoma...
Hey what’s up and welcome! It’s a small community here and we are stoked to have you! What color is your element? I should ask people to drop likes more often thanks for being hero bro.
Great video! I’m a new Element owner and just discovered the cult following for the vehicle. I purchased a 2003 manual 2wd with 81,000, I was looking for a awd version but for $5400 I thought it was a good deal.
Hey Stephen ! Watching you from Kyrgyzstan 🇰🇬 for long time now ! I own Honda Cr-V 05, I do overlanding quite often, we have big mountains here! My dream car is Honda Element for sure, we have American Elements and Japanese Elements with right hand side steering wheel, which isn’t comfortable… Def looking for American one ! Btw what is your gas mileage fully equipped (roof tent, box and etc.?) Wish all the best 🙂
@ I’ll do it one day ! 18 mpg isn’t that bad I would say for this beauty, mine is around 21mpg or 11 liters (full loaded). Keep doing your content, loving it !
Had one back in 2005 certified used 05 5speed fun to drive but many things I hated. Not economical, aerodynamic challenge, had issues with leaks and clutch. Got rid of in 2007 on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I do love seeing how they are a cult following, maybe would consider the newest ones.
I absolutely love my '05 Cargo Khaki Ex 5-spd manual AWD! Found it this past March, and I'll probably never part with it. Great for camping and hauling my now only one dog around in. The tailgate is cool.
Welp, since the current Elements keep getting more interest & shine (until they make some new ones) I should probably save up for what I think may be a potential engine head gasket replacement ;< . Replaced the hoses and radiator cooling fans and she's still burning coolant steadily on highway speeds. Could be something else (hoping it is something cheaper after a deeper diagnosis) but not really feeling ready to drop more $ into her quite yet. Just have to keep an eye on her coolant. Used car problems! These functional things are keeping me from balling out further with the mods! I definitely want that swivel seat mod and some new seat covers but holding off for now. Happy with my bed setup and it's been a solid adventure machine here in the PNW.
Like & subscribe to bring the element back ❤

Welcome to the fam. There are people who make aftermarket windows. Google Dog E window by element DIY tell them Stephen sent ya cheers!
I love the tight turning radius and though I don’t sit in the back I like the stadium seating and leg room 😮

@@StephenAldaco mine is tangerine with grey cladding. I was fortunate to find it when I did, and I would have gotten any color.

Yeah! I'd bet a 03 with that few miles was babied. Nice score.
Congrats on your new Element! 5400 is not bad at all I would take that deal for that milage for sure.
Helluva deal! That's amazing to find one with such low mileage. And what I like about the 2WD, is no moon roof! Congrats on your purchase!
Clamshell doors?? Don't let them win Stephen. That's ridiculous. If you're being triggered that easily that's not on the world to work on.
Yep they are suicide doors 😮
That was fun Stephen, thank you
You are so welcome!

Wow! So cool send me a photo or video of your crv would love to see it. With everything on my set up my mpg is around 18MPG!

@@StephenAldacoand yeah K24 engines are beast ! I have 210,000+ miles on my Cr-V it runs so smooth ! I wish they start re-producing Elements again !
Agree about the likes and dislikes 😊
🫶 glad you agree haha!

Bruh, Grand Cherokee had trash reliability, cheap GM parts. Seems like a downgrade
Sorry you had so many issues! Hopefully they do eventually come out with a new one soon. I am patiently waiting 🤣

I need to get one
You do actually need one at least maybe 2
I think it's the next best thing to a 1965 VW Kombi!

Probaly smart to save up for if and when that doesnt happen so you are not hit with it by surprise! Glad to have you hear bro!
What mpg do you get on your element?
18-20 I did a video somewhere on this channel
18-20 in town, and about 25 highway.
You are luck man. Be a part of US community is a big +. in a Europe owning Element is a pain in the ass.
No parts no community(
Yeah that really sucks! You guys have lots of cool VW’s though!
@StephenAldaco VW 🤮
Do search for Element Owners, and you will find community, at least online....
