I'm 6'3" and skinny, with long arms. After trying dozens of other jackets I settled on Rally 2 as my winter jacket. In black. It's really warm jacket. I commute to work on daily basis, 15 min ride mostly on a highway, and it's really impressive how warm and windproof it is. I only wear a t-shirt underneath and I'm still warm in temperatures about 0 degrees. Can't say a bad word about it's waterproof abilities. Plus it's very comfortable. The only downside of the outer jacket is it's pockets. They're actually quite tight. I mean it's not a problem for me, my phone is on the smaller side, but with the biggest smartphones you can struggle. And I have mixed opinions about the inner jacket. On one hand it's really warm, these cuffs are amazing since you can easily put your gloves on top of them and yet under the main jacket. The only problem is the collar. It's very tight and not exactly comfortable. The main jacket has this neoprene finish which makes it nice and soft, but the inner jackets collar is just hard, and that velcro strap ain't exactly great idea either. I feel a bit strangled. On the other hand, it's tight so it keeps you warmer. Overall great jacket, especially if you're tall and skinny like me. The sleeves are longer than in most of the jackets. Hope this helps, ride safe people. PS I only wish they would make pants in longer leg sizes.
As usual, excellent review. I enjoy how your videos are presented. Something that might be of interest, white would be much cooler than black in that 35C desert. Today in Brisbane Australia, it is 36C, a slightly warmer summer day here.
I ride in Rukka laminated jackets so good and very comfortable The problem with adding layers is by the time you've stop If you can its to late and the colour is way to light for our filthy winter road conditions
I can't see how this is a serious jacket for someone who's gonna ride off-road, it won't stay white for long. As for waterproofing, again any serious off-roader knows that these sorts of setups are just too warm especially with the waterproof lining in or if laminated, far better to have separate waterproofs you can put over top and easily remove if it stops raining. What use is the better waterproof liner if it's part of the internal warm liner - what if it a hot day and raining? As for armour, again any serious off road rider will wear separate armour attached to the body, stuff built into jacket and pants is just token armour, most of the time is just for peace of mind. That said it looks great, the internal liner you can wear off the bike which is a bonus and will all work fine heading to Bike Shed or other such places on your scrambler which never sees a green lane.

It might look good on Roger Moore but it would look ridiculous on anyone else until it becomes completely filthy.
