That tall grass is broom straw and you can bet your last dollar that the deer travel through it and bed in it if there’s any deer in the area. I got drawn for the first rifle hunt this year but couldn’t go because I was in the hospital. I haven’t heard or seen anything about anyone getting a decent buck this year.
