I used to grouse hunt in the valley before they damned things up. Such huge dozers and the biggest excavators ever. Crews working to cap off all the natural gas wells. Watched college student group “wax papering” grave markers and logging the position of graves before the land was flooded. Great bird hunting. Came back the last week of grouse season to find a tall dike hand been made to block the county road access. Thanks for the report.
I've been fishing there a few times with a friend when I was visiting him. We use to call it "Cave None"....we didn't catch anything from shore. It was probably us though... lol. Beautiful scenery there.
Chad Nickell is a good friend of ours and as a matter of fact, we were just out on the water at CRL this evening catching crappie on these habitats. We caught over 100 crappie!
Great informative video guys. Is that information available in all states? For instance in indiana? I was on the water years ago and saw them dropping fish habitat structures on Webster lake and I thought I marked the area but I’m having a heck of a time locating them again.
I wish the PA Fish Commision would do this. They dumped some stone in my local Lake Marburg in about 3 feet and it mostly is out of the water. Maybe they should watch how KY does it?
My school, Washington County Hugh School, may have a tournament on this body of water later on in the season. I don't really know for sure because I recently moved to Springfield over the summer and this will be my first year on the team. But if we do, these locations will be some locations to check out for sure!
Looks like RECYCLING to me, people also get fined for throwing trash out a car window as well, yet we all put trash in a landfill, where it sits to rot & not put to use. 🤔

It’s not pollution. It has zero detrimental effect and grows phytoplankton. This quite possibly the most important living element on the planet. Educate yourself please.
PVC takes around 100 years to start degrading in the sun and air. double that when completely submerged in water. It also does not change the PH or O2 counts in the water like decomposing wood and brush does.

So the places to fish are the more natural habitat structures?

Structure is everything. I caught fish one day after placing several brush piles in a lake that has no structure in the middle.
I love this!
I went to Frenchburg job corps I stay goin to zilpo
Looks like my line would get caught on that

This is the reason I changed my major. Biology is just too much manual work for my spine.
looks like polution to me they fine people for leaving trash but they put trash under the water
