I'm so excited to get this one done. I was surprised at how many of you never saw them before the introduction video. I can't wait to share more of these incredible animals. Hopefully, I can you to love them too!
I can appreciate your scapes more than any other person in the world. This is because you have the most natural looking environment for your animals. Some aquascapers plant their tanks until it overgrown into a forest, this does not look like anything you would ever find in nature. Don't ever change the way you do things, you have inspired me and many others. Keep it up!
not only is tanner a master at growing things, both green and moving, but he's also an artist, and has adapted his artistic talent into making stunning growing scapes. his canvas is alive, and he is a master at painting with it
The dragonroot arrangement is incredible! And I really appreciate the leaflitter, never even thought about it as an option, but it adds such a georgeous touch! Cant wait for the update with a full moss-wall
Honestly you're one of the few youtubers that still puts their animal care above all else. You have a few 'exotic' pets but all of them are clearly well taken care of and you don't collect them like trophies. I appreciate how much love goes into each habitat.
After you've been in the hobby awhile, tanks just coagulate around you haha. I use a 20g as a doorstop for my greenhouse lol. If you need help finding one check your local reptile/exotics groups on FB. Some great people in those literally just giving tanks away sometimes
exactly my thought! His video titles and thumbnails make me watch them, but when I start watching them and I see how much plastic and chemical sh*t he puts in his tanks I feel like throwing up.
@@medicus4560 If you're so opposed to it, how about you try making a tank like that without "plastic and chemical sh*t" I promise you, it will be VERY hard
@@KiwiAndCompany You talk like you're some sort of expert in this field and I wouldn't have a clue. :D :D :D All my tanks are without plastic and chemical sh*t. The only thing I can't avoid it is the silicon which holds the glass together.
I do find them incredibly weird looking but who knows what they think about us? So I'll just be quietly fascinated and in love with their new home. That scape looks incredible!
Its so cute how they anticipate food. My corn snake knows when feeding day is and is always ready to eat, and every morning he pays attention when I change out my rabbits water, cause he knows hes getting fresh water next.
I love that you're doing a full scape for these toads. So many people just give up with these impaction-prone animals. I like seeing ways they could live in a natural and beautiful aquarium.
I really like how this one looks! Love the more hardscape focused ones, I think the color of the stones and the green plants create a very nice contrast. Looks very natural.
I am so glad you decided to wait a bit; the tank is beautiful already, but I am sure it will be even better once the moss has established, and of course, the health of the toads is paramount.
Once again, perfect balance of what kind of environment best suits the welfare of its inhabitants, as well as looking incredibly beautiful. That is my favourite thing about your art. Thank you!
Man i have been in the hobby for 30 years and have done everything even acrylic repair using acrylic rods but you have even given me new ideas! Just plain awesome!
The background is a really clever idea, but if you want better coverage and a short amount of time I suggest you put the moss in a blender, spread the moss slush over the foam and leave it to grow emersed for a week or two. I do this with rocks and I always get good coverage with this method. You can also attack plants to the background foam as well. I think carpeting ones like Cryptocoryne Lucens would work well without taking up too much space. I would also suggest adding an airstone to the area between the background and the glass. The movement will allow the foam to function as a filter as well as a growing medium.
These are totally the kind of frogs I would love to have. Just like Mata Mata turtles. I love the weird ones! I just want to ssay again that I love how you put your animal's welfare first. The scapes are designed around the animal's needs first and foremost, and your animals' welfare comes before your videos (such as the decision to hold off on moving them in). I can't wait to see these guys thriving in this setup. Best frogs!
Every time... just when I think it looks incredible and must be done - you bump it up another notch or two (leaf litter). You are an artist. Total respect for your vision, ingenuity and the amazing little worlds that you’re creating.
This is a beautiful scape. I love the openness of the rock bottom and the choice of the plants with it. Keeps things open while also making it look full. Kinda makes me want to do an aquarium like that.
Wow! So much inspiration in this vid. Loved the way that background was made. Makes me want to start a new tank. Hehe. Looking forward to seeing flapjack and pancake in their new home 🥰
The aquarium came out amazing! I love the look, and those Toads are just fascinating. I loved seeing them use their funny hands to help shove the worm in for feeding!
The scape looks great. It will be really interesting to see these guys in there. Hopefully they do breed. They're an interesting toad that you don't see very often.
Even though I have no interest in getting into this hobby (I'm a gamer by hobby), your videos are relaxing to watch and it is neat to see how your creative mind makes these projects come together.
Fantastic video as always tanner! It’s been really rewarding to see your channel grow from only 50,000 subscribers and all the projects you can now undertake!
It’s funny how I didn’t get the notification for this video until I had finished watching it 🤦🏻♀️ i even have all notifications on I guess it’s good I saw this in my recommended’s TH-cam really be slow sometimes. Can’t wait to see how much Flapjack & Pancake enjoy it. They are super cute.

Your designs are so cool
I love your videos
This is probably my favorite serpa design video!
The toads are creepy and off-putting as hell, and also really fascinating. Great pets :D
They're like little amphibious pancakes
And when they have eggs on there back its like mini amphibious pancakes with popcorn kernels stuck in there back

I like this moss wall technique, it seems very doable for newbies like myself and less daunting than superglue.

One of the best Pipa pipa setups I've ever seen. They may benefit from floating plants. It would reproduce their flooded habitats.

They are def NOT creepy, at all. I'm glad you chose this kind of frogs to showcase.
I can’t wait to see the moss fully grown in ! This scape is amazing, I love the texture of the wood
These frogs are adorably squish. I liked seeing them now that they have relaxed a little from travel. Such good personalities.

Yuppers! You probably won't find them at your local pet store, but you're likely to find them directly from a breeder online or at a reptile show.
To add to that: You'll usually get a lot higher quality directly from a breeder and at a fraction of the price that you'd pay for retail.
