Why slide the bait over the weight when you dont need to? and its also easier to do so when you have to like on the bulletz you wet the keel weight first
awesome lure caught snook on one just now actually lol plus snook in my pic with pearl paddler :)... i also catch tons of flounder with them just vibrate it on the bottom and reel that doormat in....
Hey Capt next time give this a try instead of the hook point in the nose and out the throat and jamming the weight though the body try putting the point of the hook where it came out the throat and out the nose to make the small hole remove hook and now take the eye and put it through the throat and out the nose then tie your line to hook the weight never had to go through the body and for me doesn't ride down the hook with the smaller hole for what it's worth
