I’m trying to keep my excitement to a minimum but I found out today that both stores in my area are being closed and they are making a super store here. I sure hope so. I would love to have a yarn wall like that.
You know what is so funny? We are all excited to get a yarn wall at each of our local Joann's. It's not like the yarn wall will be in our our own homes. We just want to look at it. Thanks for sharing the information and your haul with us.
Today is the best day ever. You posted amazing video. And I went to goodwill I got a set of two peace pastel purple baskets, a breaking dawn book. (I want to find new moon, and eclipse books, because I have twilight book). a mester box for $9.99, what's in that box is 64 yarn ( alot of different types and colors of yarns 13 bags two of the bags are medium clear jaw string yarn balls/skeins and 9 skens), Some different kinds of small beads 14 and cluster of embroidery threads, Tiny pompoms, Small r for embroidery , Different colors and sizes of sequences, Small wood double end knitting needles Some small square embroidery mesh. Melt needle,a big stitch mark A metal needle. And I don't know if all of the yarns are vintage, because some of yarns have labels, and some of them looks vintage. And almost doesn't have labels.
I live 10 minutes from the headquarters of Joann in Hudson Ohio. I wasn’t aware that the largest? Joann is in Columbus? We have a great store right next to the headquarters. But I don’t remember seeing a yarn wall 😮
Oh no!! There’s actually a lot of different stores with yarn walls, so maybe there’s one close to you! I was able to just look at the store images on google to see if they have a yarn wall or not. If there aren’t any others close to you hopefully you’ll be back in Columbus soon! :)
My local JoAnn (Vancouver, WA) was remodeled a couple of years ago and it has a large yarn wall / yarn department. However, I am just getting back into crocheting so I have not actually shopped there for yarn in a while.
Too funny!! And I’ve seen there’s one in Orlando and Naples with yarn walls (both are about two hours from me) so I definitely want to make the trip to one of them!!
Wow, sounds great 👍. My closest JoAnn is mostly fabric and has only a very small yarn section. Maybe I can get some yarny friends together for a road trip to Ohio (I'm in Massachusetts, so it isn't too too far). Love your haul, especially the orange yarn (my favorite color). Have fun using it all. 🙂
I just bought the light sage too!!!! It’s so funny because I thought the size was bigger lol! It is a beautiful color, and I had never seen it in person either 😀
@@katiebeingcreative I’m not sure! I got mine at an odd craft/department store called Ben Franklin and a lot of the yarn labels look older. Like some of them looked almost vintage 😬 The label on mine says something about the American Red Cross. I think my video with my Ben Franklin Haul is scheduled for June 2!
Maybe it is older than I just know I haven’t seen the color before either lol! And I’ve never heard on Ben Franklin, I just looked it up and the closest one to me is in Tennessee so maybe I can check it out on our next trip!!

One is in Naples and one in Orlando! There’s probably more, those are just the ones I’ve seen and I was able to look at pictures of the stores on google to see that they had yarn walls. You might find one even closer to you by doing that!
I actually use a lot of different yarns as well but I like acrylic because of all the color options! I mainly make amigurumi projects and sometimes I need colors that other yarn types just don’t have

Yes it’s the location on Polaris Parkway! When I googled Columbus Ohio Joann it came up as the third or fourth one I believe :)
