  • Beware! VR golf with Meta Quest 3 and Golf + is extremely addictive and fun! But as I illustrate in this short video, BE CAREFUL of your environment. It's very easy to lose track of where you are and disaster is lurking nearby.

    Sorry for your loss.
You might want to remove the black cover from the headset, you can just pull it off, so you have more peripheral vision. It will cost you some immersion.
Plus with glasses it is more comfortable that way.
    Thanks for the videos.

Hey, I appreciate the condolences. Big, tough, expensive lesson. I've eliminated any issues by moving into a room with no electronics! I want the full headset experience.

There is now a new open interface for the Quest 3 made by Meta that is made mainly for Mixed Reality experiences but I found it easier to be aware of my outside surroundings when in VR. Maybe give it a try.

Try playing with ur back facing ur sofa I have the same setup in my living room. If you stand against ur sofa and hold ur head up and look straight a head and recenter it should recenter you in the same spot

Yeah, I was doing that but then switched. Anyhow, I have eliminated any chance of killing my new TV by moving into another room! Thanks for your suggestion!!

Where do you tap it? I tried it once and nothing happened. Always appreciate the input!
