The desk in the back is a perfect option that Alliance should definitely add. As we work from the road and it's just the two of us this would be the perfect RV!
I’ve seen the other influencers who have given design input and this is far and away the most functional. We’re retired, traveling FT in a 42 ft Solitude and considering something smaller. Love the layout…the mud room is genius and we would love the desk area for our dining with a view. Congratulations!
Love the desk and the large island. I'm sure the desk will be a big hit for Alliance. Giving up an extra couch for a desk will be a no brainer for people that work remotely or those with a smaller party.
Dear Alliance: This is a beautiful fifth wheel. Please consider making this in a 30 ft version. I would opt for the desk in the back, theater seating, and the table and chairs with a queen bed. LOVE that rear window office desk! Already hit Alliance with an email to make that a standard option. Who needs an extra couch? All those window views are fabulous but the real test is how warm the 5th wheel will keep this winter! 😄 Congrats on your new Alliance! SO glad it has a full walk-in "walldrobe" as well. Folks shouldn't have to buy a 36-45ft rig just to get some decent closet space!
Many genius ideas here. Do you occasionally sit at your desk in those comfy chairs and eat your meals? Have you considered a flip-up counter at the end of the island so you don't have to straddle the corner? I agree that having a queen-sized bed makes the bedroom much nicer and being able to turn around in the bathroom is key. Very nice tour. Thank you.
Love the clean bright and light inviting kitchen. The RVs and campers that are dark makes me feel like I’m in a cave. I just said awe….when you opened the door. Excited for you guys!
Absolutely beautiful! If I weren’t 75 yo solo female I would definitely consider trading in my Airstream Interstate for a similar unit. Lots of luck with your next home. Can’t imagine this will be the last rig but can’t imagine a better thought out space. ❤
That kitchen and oven!! 😮😮 I remember your prior episode(s) on cooking a thanksgiving meal / turkey and was amazed how well that turned out. I always associated camping with tiny, inefficient, cheap, poor-working ovens. Did not expect a large fifth wheel to even pull off that functional of a kitchen. Thanks for sharing!

I've been thinking about this layout. Really great to see you give it a try! The one thing that I think could make it better is if the kitchen island had a fold out table/extender that could act as a little table to eat on and you just pull your work table chairs over. Realistically though, I'm sure we all know that you eat at the desk or sofa.
I spoke to Alliance at the Tampa RV show, and they agree to create this floor plan for us on the 310RL. I mentioned your channel and they knew exactly what I was talking about. The full body paint seems like a good option, but the black is showing major orange peel. My guess it's a cheap paint job.
You guys nailed it. Looks like this will really work well for your needs. Three weeks mooch docking. Guessing you are back where the state bird is the mosquito. Bumper crop this year. 3 RVs back, dishwasher was an option. Wife said No, I said Yes, if nothing else you can store dishes. One week later she ran the first load. Since that point one of her key RV requirements is a dishwasher.

I enjoyed your travels and adventures in your smaller units and tough to get places 😮 now IDK how your gonna lug that monster size park avenue monster which is a beautiful unit in and out of these spots with out beating the hell out of it. I enjoy your channel. There’s another couple Utubers with big 5 th wheel who went to Mexico recently and pointed out how every mile there 5th was getting torn apart and demonstrated as seams a panels undercarriage got destroyed. Love it! The only thing I would rethink is the desk. It could use a drop leaf table over the drawers. Then, it could be lifted with a leg that folds down, creating a T shape and you have either a larger two-sided work space or a dinner table when needed. Looking forward to your adventures!
I totally agree! We actually suggested something like that as we were looking for a table option for eating while planning this out. It would be a smart idea for sure!

In the first walk through at the factory you had the grey backsplash. Did I miss how you ended up with the Subway tile? The desk DEFINITELY needs to be a choice.
thanks for the tour of your home. I also watched the other video of your friends: Must see upgrades on 2023 Alliance Paradigm 310rl (RV Mini Split). Its unfortunate one must enter into the closet and sit down to transfer clothing from washer to dryer due to the Splendide doors opening outward towards the bed. If you guys have any pull with Alliance, a good suggestion would be to have them swap the hookups so when the washer/dryer doors open, they open into the closet allowing one to sit on the bed and have full opening available to load clothes. I know you guys have the combo and its on the left of your closet. When the Splendide door is open, is it in your way? Seems you have to go into the closet to get around the door. We are probably going to get the 295 and the Splendide combo like you guys. I'd rather have it on the right so the door opens into the closet. Thanks again for all the info you guys provide!
Yes, our door opens the same way as our friends. It's a minor irritant , but I think less on the combo because you don't have to move from the washer to the dryer. The water and drain lines are on the driver side of the RV and could be moved to the passenger, but would require further runs, obstructions, cost, etc... I think it would make more sense for splendide to put reversible doors, because every RV is differant....
By the way, I really like the mud room/ shoe storage idea. We have a trifold sofa that’s never used and the benches would be a perfect fit in its place. Now to convince the boss...! 😂

I'm so happy you are loving your new 5th wheel! We have a 33ft 5th wheel too and are full-time. We love the length and feel that we can still fit most places, especially when boondocking. Can't wait to see some of your adventures
Love your new home, it is certainly a world away from your van days. Would you mind sharing the brands for the couch and desk chairs. We have a recently purchased unit with a similar floor plan and would like to make similar seating changes. We always look forward to your posts, you two exude such a joy for each other and life!
Did you ever consider getting a mini split AC/Heat Pump instead of the rooftop AC? We are considering the ceiling cassette mini split by LG. More energy efficient and less noise than those rooftop air conditioners and it has heat. I sure wish Alliance RV would offer this as an option.
We would love a mini split, but it is a fairly large modification. Factory option would be awesome and we would have gone that route for sure! We have friends that put one in their Alliance and they really like so far. 👍
Great job , I really like the twin desk with the drawers in the middle and the Beautiful white chairs also the great view you have back there with those windows and the mudroom area is genius., and you still have plenty of options when it comes to dining without having the dinette, with the island and the desk area, personally I would just have a TV tray and sit at the recliner. It's like you guys are living in a castle now compared to the titanium ORV 22FQS you guys had, even though that was a great RV as well especially after you painted it along with all the other upgrades you guys did, anyway congratulations! And I hope you guys enjoy many years of Adventure in it. God bless
Congratulations you guys!!! You guys did an amazing job as well as Alliance working to customize for you!!! I know you guys are avid boondockers as we are and noticed something on your leveling legs at the start of the video. Looks like Alliance set the height of the legs on the “factory setting.” Highly recommend you guys place them at the highest setting to minimize the chance of the legs coming in contact when you going in and out to a spot off road. Thats what we did…game changer!!! Also, helps when traveling and maneuvering and navigating the coach down some of the roads throughout the country. Looking forward to the following videos!!! You guys are awesome!!! Also, I saw the dumbbells by the desk. Ditch those and get the powerblocks. Only 2 weights that can go from 2.5 lbs to 50 lbs in 2.5 lb increments….we loveum bcuz of the small foot print!!! 👍😃🍻
Your new home looks great. We’re full time in our Class A, but right now you’re giving me 5th wheel envy! Only think I would suggest to Alliance from an aesthetics perspective is that the windows behind the couch and dinette/mud room area should be the same. I know why they did it from a functional standpoint, the lines just doesn’t look as clean.
Love the floorplan and the SLIDING WINDOWS are the best structural feature I think!! i HATE tilt out windows bc u just NEVER get enough airflow with them. I had a house with tilt out windows i HATED them!!

I think it would make more sense for splendide to put reversible doors, because every RV is differant....
By the way, I really like the mud room/ shoe storage idea. We have a trifold sofa that’s never used and the benches would be a perfect fit in its place. Now to convince the boss...! 😂

Very nice 5th wheel! I really like the changes you made in the living area with the 3 person couch, desk, & the shoe storage benches.

I'm so happy you are loving your new 5th wheel! We have a 33ft 5th wheel too and are full-time. We love the length and feel that we can still fit most places, especially when boondocking. Can't wait to see some of your adventures

Love your new home, it is certainly a world away from your van days. Would you mind sharing the brands for the couch and desk chairs. Did you ever consider getting a mini split AC/Heat Pump instead of the rooftop AC? We are considering the ceiling cassette mini split by LG. More energy efficient and less noise than those rooftop air conditioners and it has heat. I sure wish Alliance RV would offer this as an option.
We would love a mini split, but it is a fairly large modification. Factory option would be awesome and we would have gone that route for sure! We have friends that put one in their Alliance and they really like so far. 👍
Great job , I really like the twin desk with the drawers in the middle and the Beautiful white chairs also the great view you have back there with those windows and the mudroom area is genius., and you still have plenty of options when it comes to dining without having the dinette, with the island and the desk area, personally I would just have a TV tray and sit at the recliner. It's like you guys are living in a castle now compared to the titanium ORV 22FQS you guys had, even though that was a great RV as well especially after you painted it along with all the other upgrades you guys did, anyway congratulations! And I hope you guys enjoy many years of Adventure in it. God bless

I know you guys are avid boondockers as we are and noticed something on your leveling legs at the start of the video. Looks like Alliance set the height of the legs on the “factory setting.” Highly recommend you guys place them at the highest setting to minimize the chance of the legs coming in contact when you going in and out to a spot off road. Thats what we did…game changer!!! Also, helps when traveling and maneuvering and navigating the coach down some of the roads throughout the country. Looking forward to the following videos!!! You guys are awesome!!! Also, I saw the dumbbells by the desk. Ditch those and get the powerblocks. Only 2 weights that can go from 2.5 lbs to 50 lbs in 2.5 lb increments….we loveum bcuz of the small foot print!!!

Your new home looks great. We’re full time in our Class A, but right now you’re giving me 5th wheel envy! Only think I would suggest to Alliance from an aesthetics perspective is that the windows behind the couch and dinette/mud room area should be the same. I know why they did it from a functional standpoint, the lines just doesn’t look as clean.
Love the floorplan and the SLIDING WINDOWS are the best structural feature I think!! i HATE tilt out windows bc u just NEVER get enough airflow with them. I had a house with tilt out windows i HATED them!!
I think sliding windows let more air in and better chance for a crossbreeze
