thanks....just started coaching a young girls team and they are all beginners. this is a great concept that i think will hold their attention while introducing very basic principles
This was great, thanks, I've been looking for "child life preschool" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Elilan Coachify Domination - (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.
I like it, to a child that plays alone and pratice alone they can do this on their own, and children already knew that soccer can't use hands excvept the goaly. this is just a warm up, hands are just helping the feet and the body to keep the ball off the ground until they get used to it. Thank you! ((;
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me.
I don't have kids, or watch soccer very much -- more of a baseball fan. But I was looking at a friend's kid's soccer photos, and decided to watch some kid's soccer practice videos out of curiosity. Very inspiring training!
Hi guys, would you so kind to tell me the nature of thoose exercises? I mean in which family would you put it, tradicionally, breakthrough or problem solving? Many thanks
taking the ball in hands is to simulate the ball falling in front if them to volley. not committing fouls for the haters. when they throw ball to partner they learn proper throw in form. receiving throw could be done without hands.. sure.. and probably more endorsed.. still it could improve hands receiving ball if training as goalie. . alternatively one could receive throw with chest, thigh or foot if do not want to teach them to receive throw with hands. Understand that objection for sure. Understanding how to control a throw in hss its merits without using hands but I rather like this drill.
What are some so called coaches complaining here? These are perfect practices for beginners. All what Ingo is teaching here has to do with the basic coordination needed while trying learn how to play or handle the ball. Using the hands helps beginners learn these exercises easier and quicker, since they can´t keep the ball high at all. Learning how to throw and catch the ball without letting it drop helps your legs gain practice in balancing or coordination too! This must not be explained in such videos, since we think almost everyone teaching kids should already know.....
I don't know.. some people get on here just to complain. IF they were not looking for help they would not be here in first place. Usually I ignore them but I thought it was pretty useful and felt needed to reply which I rarely do.
I hear a lot of people keep on talking about Episoketren System. But I'm not sure if it is good. Have you ever tried using this popular training course?
Great training video! My 6 year son Sal's latest video is him practicing passing, shooting and dribbling with the ball. Please have a look at his videos.
Fun fair positive soccer are good on collecting money for free is not for kids and it last one month and they get parents to volunteer to be coach and everyone gets a trophy
This a useless soccer drill. Why? Because when you want to develop the players individual skills, those skills must be something you can aplly in the field. If you teach your players to juggle the ball with the foot and then catch the ball with the hand, when they go to the game they do the same thing it's a foul. This drill has so many dead times, too many interruptions to teach a real simple skill. Soccer isn't hard and difficult, soccer is simple and beautifull. You can rearrange this drill by keeping the players in the circle and make them juggle the ball using only their feet. The ball can only touch the ground one time, so each time you kick the ball it bounces on the ground and you kick it again. A progression could be kick the ball one time with your foot, then with your chest and let it bounce one time on the floor. Its a more fluid and simple exercise and its more challenging for the kids
+Pedro Neves How about taking an idea and adapting it to the ability levels of your players rather than writing negative comments ..... its a decent idea with lots of opportunity to challenge the players and make it competitive with little bit of thought !
+Joseph Brisindi i have kids from 4yo to 16yo. Even some of my u6 can juggle very well, others not so well because some kids take longer to do it but all can juggle in their own way and ammount. Some do 2 touches without the ball touching the ground others can do 10 or more. Most of them do up to 10 touches with the ball bouncing in the ground 1 time between each touch. Do you remeber playing soccer in the street? Good players or all of your friends were doing coordination drills or just playing the game? The idea is that players can develop coordination skills while playing the game instead of this kind of boring exercises. We all have different methods and ideas and anyone is free to say good or bad things about each others work so i accept very well the criticism. My experience tells me this is a waste of time and there are other exercises way better than this one that give better results of the kids performance
+MickeySkidz In this exercise i dont know if they are playing football handball basketball or volleyball. I can only tell the difference because of the ball used, the shoes they are wearing and because its a football field. You think Messi or any other Professional player was doing this during youth? They were playing the game in the streets for hours and hours everyday untill perfection. I wrote a negative comment but i gave my idea of what to do in a better way and that is better that just saying "this is useless". Come to portugal and we teach you how a real soccer training is done ;)
+Pedro Neves I think the point you may be missing Pedro is 99.9% of kids that play football WONT be professionals, so for most of us it's about making sessions fun, inclusive and progressive & the point I'm making is (for me) there's no need to slate somebody's idea ..... If it's not for you the fine but the moment anyone thinks they can't learn from others and have the right to critic their ideas then you will stand still my friend ......
As a young coach I find these videos very informative and entertaining thank you so much
