thank you for letting me know about that tiny screw on the D ring, i removed the leather strap off mine and re connected the chain to the D ring and its exactly what i wanted a nice short chain handle for the bag it looks way better now just how i want it
Wow nice! I was going to try next week and just use the detachable link to connect both D rings. How does it look?

i just got this same bag, and it is BEAUTIFUL! photos and videos do not do it justice... wondering how many will be released as the SA at the store i purchased said it could be limited? hope so... and loved that you wore it with light color and it still popped!
Nice! There's a bit of fluorescence to the pink/rose color. The mini soft trunks are typically more limited because they will produce less of it due to the price point, but it's not uncommon in certain areas/countries where there will be many leftover while other areas sold out.
I wonder if you doubled up the end of the chain through the fastener before attaching it to the case would quiet some the jingling.
That is an option. I did try it and it helps somewhat with the sound, but it looks even more bulky unfortunately.

Hmm, it's very much a personal question. I really love the leather painting/airbrushing effect and it's the only smaller full bag with this color gradient (unless you count the pouches messenger). I don't know if they will reintroduce this color gradient again in the near future.

How did the corners hold up? Saw some vids of the black version where the corners tend to chip…
Well the metal hardware doesn’t have paint on it, so this model won’t be susceptible to chipping. However, since it’s polished, you will eventually get scratches, usually hairline scratches to the finish/plating. I haven’t used it long enough to show any wear

I’ve always loved LV’s soft trunk collection & the colors on this bag is to die for. Unfortunately, the clunky chains are a major distraction & totally unnecessary. Hopefully, next season, they’d remove the chains, if they decide to produce this style again. By the way, a good bag restoration company, can easily remove the extra heavy chain links permanently. I’ve seen it done & it does not in any way, detract from the beauty of the bag once it’s removed.
It was novel in the first collection, but yeah kind of grew old for me and is quite clunky (and loud), but it seems like I might be able to remove them…will post updates on IG
What a nice bag but the color is aint for me. I’m debating whether to get the soft trunk in taurillon monogram or the mini/regular monogram eclipse (I just feel like it’s not that special anymore since most people probably have this already). I’m kinda thinking about the wearable soft trunks too. Which one do you recommend for someone who just want one bag from LV where I don’t have to really baby it?
