Barron at 3:58mins: I’m awake! Dramatically turns 180 degrees from camera angle. Turns back 180 degrees and states: That’s all. Totally deadpan. Bwahaha!! Elsa, this is my #1 binge watching channel right now.
It's so awesome seeing you guys living off grid, 27 years ago I lived off grid, I taught yoga and bellydance, hiked part of the Appalachian trail, you've inspired me to go back to my roots, of course I'll have to be more gentle on my body, namaste, keep your good vibes, cool granny signing off, peace and love .
What a funking rad spot you ending up in, you two love birds are inspiring me to make this lifestyle a goal of mine one day or at least get out the rut of modern day to day and see the world. So much love to you all, glad to see you back looking healthy too Elsa!
I'm feeling unbelievably lucky because I now have access to super fresh organic produce and free range / grass-fed meats - basically a health-food store and an organic market - despite living in a rural town. A delivery service has just started up where I can order a wonderful array of veggies, fruits, meats, dry goods, personal care items and cleaning products online. I never thought it was possible for me to buy fresh fermented goodies like kimchi and sauerkraut. Sometimes what we need falls into our laps. I love that you found the meaning in your temporary isolation. I spent six months living off-grid in a caravan on a sandhill in remote outback Australia. No phone, internet, electricity, running water or services. At the time it wasn't what I wanted. Now, ten years later, I'm thrilled to be building an off-grid home. We change, evolve, and are ever surprised by the Universe. :) Happy travels!
Hi guys, another quiet peaceful video interrupted only by the harsh reality of youtube ads...drone footage is awesome. The desert is blossoming now and at her most beautiful. View from the new campsite is super, i could sit there all day long. I don't slice my lemons anymore, i pierce one end with a skewer and squeeze juice out of the hole as required, more control of the juice and the rest of the lemon can be kept without drying out. Stay safe guys and keep up the good work.
Hi elsa i am Cecille Gonzales from Philippines. I am a cancer survivor and i really enjoy your videos coz they seem very honest and simple. makes me want to enjoy more. I love the mornings too and when it is abit sunny....
I like the added drone shots when you are pulling out and going back on the road. They really put more feeling into the video's. Thanks for taking the added effort.
Thanks Elsa for the video this morning. As I stood in the rain this morning waiting for the bus, to go to work, I thought about your blissful mornings. It's a long weekend and the van is ready to roll. I'll have myself a blissful morning soon too.
Hi...when I was your age, I loved the feeling of the early morn...my honey is an early rise & I'm the sleep in one!!! I'm a true believer in taking each moment & each day for what it offers & not looking any deeper into it...this is freeing...love the way you both individually do your morning thing...we are the same...the dog pretty much directs the early routine but, then my un-directed day goes forward...we are retired for 2yrs now & after so, so many years we're enjoying the 'no rat-race' life style which i must admit took some time to adjust to...but we now revel in the daily freedom...blessings
I love how you acknowledge the medicinal quality of mushrooms. I worked on a shiitake mushroom farm for a time. My employer was a psychic, and she communicated with fungi. It was actually really cool. Mushrooms are definitely here to heal us. She goes by Shiitake Mamma if you are interested, by chance. I'm usually not into "holistic" medicine, but it absolutely has its place. Mushrooms always lift my spirit.
Man oh man was this video what I needed. It’s 1:27 in the morning and I couldn’t sleep...this video popped up on my feed. I’m going to look for that book. Lately, it feels like life has been happening to me and it’s been super overwhelming, frustrating, confusing, and I’ve been fighting depression. When I heard you break the book down I literally had tears in my eyes....thank you for being a Rhea of sunshine during my darkest times💕💕
I bought a book "Desert Solitaire" by Edward Abbey in gas station store near Moab. Some short stories of that area in the 50s or 60s. It really helped make my visit there (and later ones) more enjoyable.
Pooh to Piglet, " what time of day is it? It's now...ahhh says Pooh, my favorite time of day... Tao of Pooh is one of my favorites, thank you for sharing your Tao lifestyle...💞
Love this one. I’ve been watching a lot of “boondocking, overland, life off grid...” or what ever you want to call it videos and I especially enjoy the honesty that come through in your videos. Not so sugarcoated and fluffy like so many others videos. 👍🏼
my honeys never stunk either, lol....but LOUD and long!! I always told him he sounded like he was reciting the Gettysburg address,,btw, you 3 spark my soul. Praise the angels for small blessings.
Hey Elsa & Barron, sorry your initial plans for Utah didn't work out but so glad you stayed in Utah as one lifetime doesn't seem enough time to take it all in. I'm sure you'll find you way back there sometime and enjoy the missed areas. We really enjoyed our very first visit to Zion, Bryce and Escalante as we hovered near Lake Havasu late Feb waiting for the snow to stop falling inZion then beelined to Valley of Fire and Snow Canyon before arriving at Zion early March without reservations and arrival of spring breakers. It was an awesome time to be there. Heading out for longer hikes on first shuttle made for less crowded hikes and return to our fur baby before it heated up even in early March. By St. Patrick's. Day, Zion and town of Springdale was packed but lots of fun with local parade, fun pubs and new friends. We don't camp quite remote as you but enjoy state and national parks w/o hookups which is off grid too without cell, Internet, etc and enjoy solitude. Our camper is a few ft. longer at 20' and lots of under the bed storage. Usually stock up on enough non- perishables to last us 2-3,weeks in case no good groceries nearby. Love Trader Joe's for most non-perishables. Jarred grilled artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, black beans, pasta, grains, wraps/tortillas, lots root veg., tuna, dried fruits and lots of nuts. It's amazing what one can cook up in a tiny kitchen especially when we burn up our body stores in the great outdoors. Thanks for sharing your adventures & days of solace! Love your videos and music accompaniment! Cheers!
This is such a chill video. It is nice to see you guys eating together and working together. I love how your partnership relies on both of your ideas. That is something not everyone has time for and it is nice to see how you can take a step back and realize what you need/want. Thank you for sharing this, and the food ideas and how beautiful Utah is! and the ending! so cute haha
I have terrible insomnia and find myself watching your videos as they’re so chilled out. Love the idea of making birds nests and joey pouches .. so in going to crochet these as well xxx
I've recently found your channel and I absolutely love it! One thing it's made me realize it that I've completely stopped living my life! We get so caught up in the every day hustle and bustle of life that before you know it life's passed right by . I'm definitely going to start following you guys and enjoy your adventures with you through the screen . I think everyone needs to stop and smell the roses and fall into love again with life and with ourselves most of all! God bless you and your family and thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us.
@@meredithheath5272 i know! Between both y'all comments i wish I could find someone similar who's willing to travel in a non-orthidox type of way while still able to do their own things and still get along with their partner!!! I'm so jealous. That's so rare especially here in America!!
There was a time where I wanted to become a naturopathic doctor and Dr.Weil became a huge inspiration to me. It's crazy that he now lives where I live!
That is thee most bad ass planner\journal I have ever seen. So pleasing to the eye.. so damn organized. I wish my life was as organized as you keep your pages! 💞
TCM is where it's at! Hard to learn but by far the best natural healing I've run across in my 56 years. It's all about balance. Remember, you can always turn off these distractions, just because you have access doesn't mean you have to be a part of it, remember you control the vertical, you control the horizontal 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
Great video. I understand what you said. I sometimes feel stuck on the island I live on...but then I pray and realize I needed to come here. I am growing spiritually, emotionally and getting my health in order. I just didn't know it either. The next chapter will come in time and I will be ready for it.
Your videos always make me tear up! They also make me laugh, but I avoided watching your videos for a while because it just always hits a chord... A heart string if you will. I'm glad you're back & I'm back to watching. Thank you for all the little lessons n reflections
Wow... you guys camp in truly beautiful places ..the drone shots are spectacular! May God bless you and protect you! Your doggo is a total cutie pie!!!
Food looks amazing!! Camp is always adorable!! Love the site in Utah that Baron found! Always love Elsa's narration!! LOVE LOVE LOVE Baron's fart at the end!!!!!! ♥️🤣😝😷
Looks like Barron got a new drone! I'm going to have to check out that book. I need more philosophy in my life. Love you two and wishing you good health! ❤️
The peek into your lives is fascinating. I’m always picking up great ideas from you two. The places you camp are always so pretty, and so remote. Your videos inspire me to do more, and to do better. Health, Joy, Serenity
Wow , so many beautiful places outside Moab . I live in nj and needed to be in the desert . Drove 3 days , found a spot outside canyonlands and camped in 23 degrees in my tent . Amazing hikes , night skies and quiet !
I absolutely love love love your videos, with everything going on In the world right now I find my self binge watching all of your videos. It brings me such peace. ❤❤❤❤❤🙏

Elsa Rhae also can you please keep adding the books & podcasts you have been liking? I started Own the Day & the Tao of Pooh! Love them so far & am always in search of people with great taste for books about intentional living! Thanks again!
I love all your videos and seeing such enjoyment from a more simple lifestyle then most people are used to. I have wondered why more people who live in more remote areas where cell service may be an issue, or travel like you guys do, do not get involved in amateur radio (Ham Radio). This does not provide internet access, but it does allow for emergency communications and weather alerts if needed. You do need a license for this, but it is fairly easy to get. If you have questions about it, just let me know. Best you luck to you guys and thank you for sharing your videos.
Ive learned alot about using different ingredients to spicen your food and to better your diet.ive been eating way too much fast and processed food s,and watching these videos really inspires me to change my diet
I just love your videos! Its not really the content but your presentation... the artistic stuff mixed in and delivery. I like that you have Barron do his style of stuff from time to time. Just one of my most favorite authentic TH-cam channels and very inspiring :) :) I wish you so much success exploring!
I recently came upon your channel and have been catching up on all your videos. Your content is so well done and is so very relaxing to watch. I've been eyeing the wood stickers on your site and will hopefully buy one or two soon. :)
You are correct. I heard that the wind disabled one of the cell towers in the LaSal mountains. This spring has been unusually wet and windy. We're still getting rain and snow at the end of May. If you make it back to Moab, try to come in the fall, around Thanksgiving. The weather is so much better that time of year. I'm loving your videos. Great editing. ❤️
When Elsa said "no internet, no TH-cam, no cell phones. No interruptions I thought " how are we watching your channel?"😂 I'm glad I subscribed to you guys. Keep it up. 👍🏼
Utah has a energy that draws out your inner curiosity.... Its a shift.... its crazy. There are many energy lines that go thru Utah. FYI check out their pony express trail... one of my favorite areas and journey. Many wild horses too.
I truly believe that Mother Nature provides all we need to heal and live clean. Because of a multiple of health issues I decided to change to a Vegan lifestyle and I must say it’s been a life saver. It hurts me to know that a hamburger cost so much less that bunch of broccoli. Live on guys and thanks for sharing.
Lionsmane coffee from four sigmatic, with MTC oil and grass-fed butter is my favorite morning beverage. One cup gives me the energy of 2-3 cups of plain black coffee.
I absolutely love your channel, it mentally clears my mind and I hope to one day get to experience this lifestyle! Please never stop making these life changing videos!
The safe word is "Cacao". Epic drone shots BTW. You folks know how to lug that lil Scamp around. Maybe you can work with them to develop a hearty off- road Super Scamp. Wicked ripper.
Probably one of my favorite videos of yours. Thank you for sharing the beauty. I'm glad you listened to the universe and remembered to love being lost. All the best vibes shared right back at you 💕
I am 66 years old and when I grow up I want to be just like you guys. I love the way you live so healthy I have recently learned about some of those things like keto and Bulletproof Coffee MCT oil coconut oil all those things when I used to live on a fast food diet. I've lost almost 20 lbs but I'm not feeling really well I am dizzy and weak a lot. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have a Ketone monitor and I keep close check on that and my glucose maybe I'm not as hydrated as I should be like. Love you guys I used to live in Colorado now I live in Utah so you know a lot about what I know about the country.
I’m 52, and when I grow up. I want to be just like the both of you. You guys rock!

There is a lot of work particularly in this video I think compared to others because of these gorgeous views helped by the drone.

The look on Elsa's face as she was about to bite on that breakfast, and you farted, was PRICELESS!!

What about Michigan? Have you ever thought of traveling there? The upper Peninsula is always gorgeous no matter the season.

The safe word is "Cacao". Epic drone shots BTW. You folks know how to lug that lil Scamp around. Maybe you can work with them to develop a hearty off- road Super Scamp. Wicked ripper.
That would be epic, though the people at Scamp don’t seem to be interested in working with us as of yet!
Probably one of my favorite videos of yours. Thank you for sharing the beauty. I'm glad you listened to the universe and remembered to love being lost. All the best vibes shared right back at you 💕
guys those two spots looks awesome, especially the place you moved to. Your living the dream. 👍
